Thru my spiritual journey I used to read all kinds of books like crazy. But for today, when I need to read a book, it comes to me by itself. Around two weeks ago, this book started to pop-up to my view from everywhere. I wasn't looking for a book and I didn't know the writer. It was ridicuously obvious. So I said to my higher self:"Ok ok, I got the message, I am ordering the book right now... About the book... The writer did the hard work. What I mean is, obviously he made a lot of research and readings about the subject including all directions(Eastern and western teachings), wide range of historical knowledge and all the riligious background related to the subject. The writer said that : "Reading and making research is not enough. I have to experience the whole process by myself and I have to make sure there is no missing part." One thing I liked about the book is, from beginning to the end, it's concentrated on making it possible for everyone to reach the summit about full kundalini awakening process. As the writer says that we are all coming from the devine and its possible for every single person to awaken to those devine powers and light body. The writer says that, the gifts could not be explained enough after the awakening. But it is not piece of cake. It needs to be taken seriously. Needs to be done step by step. What I mean is, if the person does not make the necessary carmic cleaning and so on, he might face with all his inner ghosts at once, which would be a disaster for the person. If you really want the answers to the questions: * What am I? * Where am I really from? * What am I really doing here? *What really is this place? *Am I really a victim or kind of a super-hero with super-hero powers? Well, you need to give it a chance first and need to buy the book. We are all in the same ship and we all need to increase the vibration of the world. To do so, we need to increase our vibration and conciousness level. And this book, shows you the way buddy...

My kundalini was activated accidentally through meditation and I was having a hard time finding someone who had had the same experience. I went through countless yoga instructors, who were supposed to specialise on kundalini, but from speaking with them, I could tell they had not gone through it personally. When I started experiencing symptoms, I did not know what kundalini was and what the process entailed. Upon discovering that it was indeed kundalini that was rising up very quickly, I was desperate to find someone who knew exactly what was going on. My kundalini entered my brain within a couple of weeks and thankfully I found Neven's books that I felt could guide me through this process. If you're going through it yourself, you will know how quickly the energy can throw you off balance unless pingala and ida both rose at the same time. Not only are these books extremely helpful on the technical side, Neven himself is very kind to answer questions and I am very grateful. The books are so insightful that I even think are underpriced for the value they offer. They are pretty much the only books that cover a wide range of topics related to the awakening ranging from personal experiences, mental health, energy pathways, diet, sleep habits, chakra alignments. I also learned about the Kybalion through his other work (The Magus) that explores spiritual transformation in the deepest way possible. These books are so thick, yet you will find that not a single sentence was written without value or purpose. The contents are pure gems, and we are lucky he is sharing them with the world, rather than exploit them for his own benefits. SPIRITUALITY IS SCIENCE hidden as what skeptics would call 'myths'. What do we really know about the world after all?

One of the best and most detailed books about kundalini, chakras, and other spiritual topics like meditation, meditation poses, yoga, and mudras. This book helped me get a lot of clarity on the experience of a fully open and permanent kundalini. I've consistently been practicing quantum healing, and chakra meditations deeply for a year now. It also gives a lot of clarity on each individual chakra, on how they get blocked, where they are located, how to unblock them, consequences of a blocked chakra on your health and life, and many more details. I know there is a chance of a full kundalini awakening while doing these practices. So I wanted to be prepared and educated on this permanent state because I know it can be intense. This book gave me all the info I needed should a full and permanent awakening occur in the nearby future.

Serpent Rising has earned a spot in my library of books that I will continue to read throughout my lifetime. There are certain books that you can read over and over and learn or develop something new each time. Neven Paar gives the reader tools that can be continuously used to develop our true “I Am” nature. Nothing presented is forced. The content is truly a gift that leads to wisdom. Thank you Neven.

I had already dwelled around metaphysics along with a lot of material covering spiritually when I came across the authors Instagram page. Neven has perfected a book that has all the good and necessary stuff you need to know about the mechanisms of Kundalini energy. I would order an additional since note-taking is a must, along with keeping one mint or to give to a relative who is also interested in topics discussed in Serpent Rising. I must remind everyone to read the book at a steady pace absorbing all the information then putting it into practice. I have yet to finish the 600+ page book but just by scanning over the chapters, every subject that I’ve researched since my interest in spirituality is all there. I highly recommend this book to anyone curious. This is the authors second book, the first is called THE MAGUS. A 500+ book on the complete system of Magick that connects eastern spirituality and the western mysteries. In this book, h goes further into Ceremonial Magick, a topic that is crucial for cleansing the 7 chakras.

This is without a doubt not only the best book on the Kundalini and the human energy system, but one of the greatest books on Spirituality in general. The author's level of knowledge is profound while the depth of research is impeccable. After reading a dozen pages it became obvious the author has an uncanny ability to convey complex terms and ideas in an easy-to-understand, digestible format, which made me not want to put the book down for hours. After the first day of reading, I learned more about the Kundalini, its purpose and where it all leads, than from countless books I read on this subject in the past twenty years. If you have any doubts about the author's work, put your mind to rest and dive in. You will not be disappointed!

I received this book yesterday & scrolled a few pages. Concepts are explained thoroughly in simple language. It is a complete encyclopaedia of yoga and kundalini. Thanks to the author for making so many efforts in writing this book I feel so lucky and protected after receiving this book !!

This is a truly comprehensive guide to raising Kundalini. Written by someone who has awakened the Kundalini, this guidebook is very useful for me in my spiritual practice.

At first sight 'Serpent Rising: The Kundalini Compendium' at over 650 pages has all the girth and heft to be a wonderful door-stopper of a book. However as we open the cover and flick through its pages, our feelings of reassurance turn into those of utter delight. The expansiveness and meticulous detail of the research becomes immediately apparent and 'Oh' those illustrations! Beautifully hand-crafted by Neven and his partner, Emily, these original, thematically-consistent, colored-illustrations are generously peppered throughout all of the chapters of this book. This is clearly a work of passion and love for the subject matter. Neven has made it his life's work to become not 'a' but 'the' foremost living authority on the Kundalini and to document his knowledge for humanity. However please understand - this is not the work of an ambitious career academic. This is Neven's second book on the subject of the Kundalini. In his first book, The Magus: Kundalini and the Golden Dawn, he documents the subject from the perspective of the Western Mystery schools - Kabbalah, Freemasonry and the Golden Dawn (an organization that he has been a fully-initiated member of.) In Serpent Rising, Neven compares and contrasts this knowledge of the Kundalini with that of the Eastern Vedic tradition. In conclusion, I would say that this is a definitive work, created by a man who's knowledge on this subject matter is probably second only to scribe of the Gods, Thoth the Atlantean. It's a 'must have' for your bookshelf if you are in any way interested in the subject of the Kundalini.
