Terrasoul Superfoods Organic Lion's Mane Mushroom Powder (4:1 Extract), 11 Ounces

This is by far my favorite Lion’s Mane supplement! I’ve been using this for years in my daily coffee. Very high quality and I have this on subscription.

I've purchased this product 5 times now and just about to buy again. This goes in our turmeric milk every morning without fail, at a rate of about a 1/2 tsp per day, which at the 4:1 concentration would be about 2 tsp of single strength. The flavor is good but very mild and it mixes almost instantly with a frother or when mixed by a blender. I also add about a 1/2 tsp of psyllium powder to the drink which thickens it up just slightly and prevents any real settling of the product. Plus it adds a bit of fiber in the morning, which is never a bad thing. Packaging is great and the product always smells and tastes fresh. I originally started using this product for my wife and I've noticed that over the course of several months, her acuity and alertness has increased.

I've been doing research for natural mood and energy enhancement products and I found Lion's Mane mushrooms one of my favorite supplement. My mood has been improved and my general well-being is better. As a side effect it lowers my blood pressure, which is also essential for me since I have high blood pressure and I'm taking medications for it. I'd like to find an alternative to avoid pharmaceutical drugs. It's working well combined with Hawthorn Berries. My dose from mushrooms is 3 grams and 565 mg of Hawthorn Berries 3 times a day. I mix the powder in my tea, coffee, smoothies. It's taste isn't really noticeable in any of my drinks, which is good. I'm about to finish my first bag of mushrooms, so I ordered another batch. I've received the new bags and when I opened them the color and consistency was significantly different. From my first order the color of the powder was dark brown as shown on the pictures and the new ones look very light, almost white. Also the ziplock isn't working. At this point I don't know why. They should pay attention on product consistency. I've read company reviews, a lot of people has noticed this and quality differences in their other products as well. As they advertise "We are also one of the largest wholesale suppliers of organic superfoods in the U.S." - Sounds really good, so that's why I gave them a try. If there's any changes I expect from a company like this to notice their customers and have explanations, because people become skeptical to trust the company. I will update my review after a couple of weeks. I want to see if there's any difference in the product effects.

I literally could not beleive how much this helped me with focus and mental clarity! It helped pull me out of a deep depression ( along with a couple other supplements) that i was battling for 2 years, which caused me to constantly lose my train of thought, I had trouble concentrating/ focusing/ processing thoughts etc. But this stuff..it almost immediately lifted this giant brain fog with one dose! I took about a tablespoon mixed into my coffee and wow, before I knew it, (hour or so later) I felt more grounded, focused, mentally stable, and the dissociation/disconnect that i was feeling due to the severity of depression, actually began to subdue! Within a few days of taking lions mane and a couple other mushrooms, Its like i was born again! I felt new- I was able to recover mentally, focus on getting treatment finally. I began to enjoy my baby even more, and returned to work very shortly after, where my critical thinking skills were crucial! I put a tablespoon into my cup of coffee before any day at work where I need to really focus and think, which is pretty much daily haha. This stuff really works!!! I tell everyone about it. Doesn't make me feel sick or weird in any way at all. It's pretty amazing how much more I can get done after dosing with this! Collect your thoughts, reel in your focus, and be more productive! Highly recommend everyone tries this!

Ok. So first thing, the product arrived earlier than expected, so good quick shipping. Secondly, I wrote the company with several questions, they were extremely quick to reply, and their answers, were exactly what I was hoping to hear!! So, according to them, beta glucan content is 30 percent, which is quite good! Also, the product is, the mushrooms are extracted with water, which is what you want....furthermore, the original mushroom material is also kept in the final product!!- ensuring that you get all beneficial compounds, similar to a double extraction, but without the need to actually double extract with alcohol. So, this is absolutely what a lions mane extract should be. The only possible way I could see them making it even better, would be to also include a mycelium extraction in the product, as then we would get ALL the beneficial interesting compounds, however, its quite difficult to actually find a product like that...and if you did im sure it would cost a pretty penny....the price on this stuff is great compared to most others available and you get more weight as well. I like the way it tastes...like mushrooms, but not obnoxiously so, and blends right into a cup of coffee or makes a lovely broth just in hot water. After trying a third teaspoon, I most definitely felt a strong natural stimulation, similar in some ways to cordyceps extracts. It's only my second day trying it, but thus far, all seems to be on the up and up and I do indeed recommend giving them a try!!

Yes we fell for the mushroom hype! It’s ok in coffee but I really enjoyed it in soups and gravy much better! A little pricey for the hype!
