Little Crow Gunworks Worlds Finest Trimmer 6.5 Creedmoor

I have been using my old RCBS trimmer for some time with varying results due to too little or too much pressure. I saw this trimmer and had some Amazon points and figured it would be worth a try, all I have to say is WOW!!! This trimmer is fast and accurate to say the least. Simple setup and the repeatability is dead on. It consistently trims the cases within .001 with no effort at all. All you do is set the cutter to a shell already trimmed to the desired length and trim away. One suggestion I would make is put a small piece of tape over the two openings, that are there to expel the chips and just clean it out periodically. This will help reduce the chips from going everywhere. Well worth the money if you do a lot of reloading.

Set once using calipers and you are ready to trim. Great product. Love fact you can replace the end mill with a carbide end mill. Trimmed my first 100 cases.

Easy to use, quick, accurate. Needs a power drill bit who doesn't have one of those? I have one for each caliber

I only bought this as Giraurd Tool doesn’t make a “Tri-way” for the 6.5 creedmoor. The triway not only cuts the case to length but also chamfers the inside and outside of the case mouth. This works very well but only trims to length..so I come back with a countersink bit in a drill and chamfer the inside of the case mouth. Not a big deal just another step. As for brass chips getting everywhere, I just copied the Giraurd design by using masking tape around the windows in the tool. When finished, pull the tape off and empty out the trimmer.

I was constantly frustrated by inconsistent case trim length with my old system. I saw a video on the WFT Little Crow trimmer and purchased here on Amazon. I did the initial setting on a once-fired piece of brass that I'd bumped the shoulder 0.015", which gave me a trim length of 1.915" on 6.5 Creedmoor. I wanted to trim back to 1.910" so I took my caliper and measured the stem that you chuck into a drill, and set it 0.005" deeper. Presto! Case came out to 1.911". I ran 10 more cases and they were all between 1.910" and 1.9115", which is 1.5 Thousandths variation across 10 cases! I'll be picking one of these up for a couple other cartridges I reload. They look built-to-last with obvious quality.

I don't normally do reviews but this little gadget is just the ticket for trimming cases. Once it is set up (follow the simple directions that come with it), it speeds up the case trimming process exponentially and we all know how tedious case trimming can be.

Got 3 already in other calibers and is a must have item.

As always the little crow trimmer is excellent. Difference in cases is less than .001” and makes quick work of trimming cases which I hate doing.
