SAFAVIEH Bellagio Collection Area Rug - 5' x 8', Red & Pink, Handmade Medallion Wool, Ideal for High Traffic Areas in Living Room, Bedroom (BLG545B)

I bought this rug for use as an interior door mat at the front door entryway. I love it so much that I bought two more in the red/pink 2x3 size for my kitchen, another purchase this month of the 2'3" x 9' hallway runner (plus another slightly smaller in the 2'6 x 4' size) which was delivered even earlier than expected today (Sat Feb 22, 2025) in the pink/ivory color, in addition to two other pink and cream/beige Safavieh 5x8 rugs now gracing my living room as of this month, from the Safavieh Glamour collection. I cannot believe how great all of these rugs look together with their slight color differences and designs, as to the 2 different colorways of the Bellagio pink/red, Bellagio pink/ivory, and as to the different Persian design Glamour collection coral pink and cream/beige for my largest ones. They seem to all go together in a way that is much more interesting, striking, and *not* matchy-matchy, which I absolutely did not want! These rugs have met all expectations beyond my wildest imaginings of them in my living space before their arrivals. I made a decision this year that I will only buy 100% wool premium rugs to replace the polypropylene rugs I have purchased in the past. I have had great luck so far with the Safavieh brand of rugs including two sheepskin runners and two more 2x3 rugs in a Moroccan pattern for other areas of my home. These rugs are soft to my bare feet, have a nice weighty feel which so far stay put without a rug pad though I could always add one later on. They vacuum nicely. I am in love with the natural fibers used plus the colors and style. Thank you Safavieh and Amazon! RECOMMEND

When reading reviews I was concerned about excessive shedding and almost didn’t make this purchase but we’ve had it for a couple of months now and shedding is not an issue at all so far . The rug is in a bedroom - not a high traffic area - and I vacuum it on a light setting. It just about fills the vacuum canister (as you’d expect any new tufted wool rug to do) but doesn’t shed otherwise. The rug is thick and very good value for the money - it has the appearance of a far more expensive rug and the colors are rich and gorgeous but not quite as vibrant as I expected ( the beige quiets the louder colors a little). There was no smell or offgassing - it was usable immediately. I bought it to replace a polypropylene rug that is still offgassing and unusable after several months of airing out on a covered deck (which inspired me to read about the dangers of polypropylene…. and now I doubt it will ever come inside). The wool texture is not super soft but nor is it scratchy. It’s densely tufted. Actually I barely notice the texture one way or the other ( and we’re in Hawaii - always barefoot inside ) and am only commenting on it because someone described it as scratchy in another review - and that hasn’t been our experience ….. because of it’s location we never sit or lie on it though . We really love this beautiful rug and are extremely happy with it

I took a risk on this rug. I didn’t expect it to be excellent quality, since the price is low, but it’s honestly such nice quality. It’s thick just like expensive wool rugs. It doesn’t slide across my tile like thinner rugs do. The colors are vibrant! I chose the pink/white/red, but there’s an option without the creamy white in it as well. I would absolutely recommend this rug, and I’m pretty picky about rugs, and never do reviews. I may be ordering this one in the larger size for a bedroom, now that I’ve seen it in the runner.

I can’t believe I got this quality of rug at this price. Feels like stealing. So thick. So lush. Quality. Happy colors. Looks expensive. Statement piece. Hot dang!

I absolutely love the vibrant colors. No shedding or color bleeding, laid pretty flat after unrolling, this is it about an hour out of the packaging. Very soft and plush. Edit: after vacuuming, there is a fair amount of shedding but, the second time there was no shedding. Still love the rug!

Love it. I was in a huge pink phase when I bought this and I still love it! It vacuums up Great and is super soft. I’ve had it for a couple years and it’s still like new. It’s a perfect size for under the bed with still a lot to show. I’ve had no troubles with it at all. Most of my rugs in my house have to have stock pads under the corners but this one doesn’t because it doesn’t need them, it never slips!

We love this rug so much and it makes the room all Pull together ! Nice and thick, great material. However there was a hole in it. We had ordered it weeks before so it was to late to make a complaint. I patched the back and glued it back down so I’m hoping it works ! Overall beautiful and love This brand

Beautiful rug but I wished I had read all the reviews because it sheds NONSTOP. It stops up my vacuum daily it will not stop. There are pink balls of fuzz all around the rug, on the rug, all over floors, my socks, and even my dogs! I’m praying it stops but had it almost a month and it hasn’t stopped yet. I’m thinking about returning to manufacturer because it’s so bad.
