NIV, Outreach New Testament, Large Print, Paperback

Nice size bible and easy to read but the text is small.

Very inexpensive way to share God's word. The print was not as large as I was hoping, as I had purchased it for a senior, but it was a little larger than regular. One nice thing about this Bible was the table of weights and measures. It makes envisioning the size of things that much easier. These Bibles would be great for outreach as they are inexpensive lightweight and easy to read.

This has been a very popular addition at our ID Clinic for the homeless. We received three and gave away three the first week we had them. Not a small book but perfect for those that need a larger font.

Giving 5 stars to what is a staple in many households may seem strange, but this is a New Testament for READING. For most of us, our experience with biblical texts is with archaic thee and thou sentences, and tiny, cramped columns of text. That format was never intended for reading. Instead, this New Testament is on soft, off-white paper, and the columns are wide, so the eyes can see sentences and paragraphs, and the text itself is in a newer, crisper, translation. Further, this book highlights the text that was NOT in versions published in earlier centuries, proof that the Bible has undergone undocumented changes. In summary, this is a version to be read. With this version, you can actually read an entire book, such as Mark, or Luke. You couldn't easily do that with earlier versions. I would give this edition ten stars. If you want to actually read the New Testament, and not just keep it available to look up a specific verse, then this book is for you. It doesn't matter how many Bibles you have (I have seven); this will be the one you read.

Bible for teens

Delivered in good condition. Paper is a bit thin but easy to read. Inexpensive enough to have several copies to give away.

Affordable and great for sharing the Word.

This LARGE print version is font size 10 and readable by most people, so a good choice as a gift for people wanting to explore the New Testament. I would have preferred to purchase the CEV version, as less wordy and easier for anyone with English as a 2nd language, however, they do not seem to be available. Pity!
