Model KV80 Powder Coating Gun Kit System Perfect Electrostatic Spray Powder Coat Machine for Home and Small Business Powder Coaters

We bought this to add on to our powder coating process. We needed a small system that would allow us to change colors quickly for small batch runs. This system fits the bill. It works well and the adhesion is great. Edge adhesion and wrap around is very good. Faraday isn’t any worse in this system than the other two we have that costed several times what this one did. Customer service is awesome and we have no complaints about this system or this company. We will buy another one as an additional backup system.

Bought this to replace an Eastwood powder coat gun. I want something a little better without going to a hopper. This works great. So far, I have only used the fan tip, but it comes with 2 other tips. Am able to do multiple coats (base and clear) with no issue.

I cannot get powder to stick on second coat no matter what I do . first coat great second coat is just terrible .I bought this hoping it would be better than the Eastwood but I was wrong

The air valve is either all or nothing, there is no fine adjustment. The attachment lid for the powder jar is a poor design that does not seal correctly. The attachment lid is held onto the gun with 1 screw and no seal so powder blows out where the lid mounts to the gun. To change colors to have to remove the attachment lid to clean, completely take apart the tip, multiple places is holds previous colors and ruins the next item with a different color. Fan tip is a poor design that does not spray in a fan pattern it sprays in a V pattern so the result is an inconsistent coating. With a few modifications this could be a great item. However with the poor 3d printed air hose attachments you can not just run to the local hardware store and upgrade this item so it is actually usable. I have had more professional results with a modified Eastwood powder gun than this item. Review was upgraded from 1 star to a 2 star because the adjustable kv actually worked right.

Works very well, take the tips off and blow it out with an air gun and you are ready to change colors. used peanut butter jars so I can find those everywhere. I have a 7' x 3 x3 oven and I can almost get a full batch done with one refill. super quick to change colors.
