Yeah, I dont think they charge extra for BPA.

I think they're stainless steel so my guess is no. I've only been using the bowl for about 3 weeks and I've left water in it that my dog didn't drink, and because she's a sloppy drinker the bowl is often sitting in water and nothing is rusted.

can i get quiet bowls for the raised feeders? I have the high feeder with stainless bowls but they make so much noise when pouring the food in.

Unfortunately, sounds happen unless you hit the mute button. You can lessen the loudness by using a plastic cup or scooper to transfer your dog food into the bowl. Pouring the food in at a much closer distance (ie scoop touching bowl) will also lower the volume. Then, there's always handy dandy ear plugs if the noise bothers you that much! Can't imagine it would be worse than a constant yapping pup, though...! Good luck!

What is the top and bottom diameter and depth of this extra large bowl? Reviews say it is quite small!

top dia 8/12, bottom dia 7/34, depth 2 1/2. Its a very nice dishwasher-safe bowl but not extra large.
