Happy with this faucet
I took a chance with this. I wasn't looking for cheap, I was looking for brushed nickel with a pull down sprayer and I really liked the looks of this. The price was a nice perk and also the fact that - and I am quoting from the description: "AVOLA WARRANTY:If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase of these faucet, simply let us know and you'll be offered a FULL refund or replacement. Enjoy this absolutely RISK FREE purchase today,Easy to be installed,5 Year Limited Warranty". It arrived exactly as purchased, nice looking and new. I did notice right away that the hot and cold hoses seemed short, but I hoped all would be well there. (This did not come with a three hole support, which is fine, but I wanted to mention that in case anyone wanted one for a three hole sink). It did come with adapters for a 1/2 supply connection which we did not need. Instllation was fairly simple, especially for me, since I was only assisting ;) My husband is not a plumber, but the instuctions were pretty cut and dried and installation seemed to go quite quickly and without a hitch until we needed to attach the hot and cold hoses. Like I suspected, the cold was too short. I am not sure if they are standard sized, but these seemed better suited for a bathroom installation. My husband had to purchase a $6 adapter at Home Depot to ensure a better fit. We turned on the water and everything went well, for about 4 minutes, then the handle started a steady drip. No leaking below the sink or anywhere else, just the handle. With the water still on we used the small hex key to remove the handle. (We placed our handle at the front instead of off to the side because of the placement of the backsplash on our counter, it would have hit it while in use). With the handle placement, we could easily see the drip and see that we could not have done anything to cause this. I fired off an email, they do not give a number, and 3 days later, I am still waiting for a response. I despise leaks and I HATE wasting water. The drip frequency would have wasted a few gallons a day. Since we were stuck with this faucet for the time being, we were forced to turn off the water when not in use until we heard from Avola or bought a new replacement. I did not hear from them at all the next day. Did I expect to? Absolutely!! Apparently, getting back promptly to customers with problems is not a priority. Before ordering another faucet, I took a chance and Googled faucet handle leaks. We learned how to take it apart, which was very easy by the way, and discovered that the rubber gasket inside the faucet handle was floating around and not secured in the proper place. Something that should have been detected had the unit been tested as they say all of their faucets are. Needless to say, we got lucky. Leak fixed! Whew, what a relief! Now we can enjoy it. And we do. The sprayer is powerful and works very well, it has a pause button which we don't use, not sure why that's needed. When you pull it down, it goes right back in and fits well without hanging. The brushed nickel is nice and easy to keep clean and the on/off handle works well now that we fixed it. Do I anticipate a long life for this faucet? I honestly don't know, but if I should need a replacement, I am not convinced they will honor it considering they can't even bother to answer an email. I will return to edit this if they should every get back to me or if it starts to fall apart. Edit: They contacted me on the fourth day, after I posted my review. She said she did not receive my email and asked me to resend it. I was given a phone number for any future concerns and an apology. Not great, but better than nothing at all! Edit #2: I was contacted again, (weeks later), and offered a refund of the part I purchased and an inquiry about my happiness with the faucet. Definitely didn't need to, but their customer service is as close to the best as you can get.

Looks and works great, but sprayer doesn't pull away enough
Super easy to install, looks and functions as described. I got this to match our copper sink. It looks great and only required drilling one hole, which was important to me. The only issue I'd say is that the sprayer attachment is pretty fixed and doesn't pull away from the sink very far, so it has some limited functionality in that regard. I do appreciate that both of the nozzles can be rotated which adds an extra level of functionality to this.

Strange design
Quality’s great. Heavy duty design. Looks nice. The only drawback is the sprayer part looks like the faucet but is only turned on by squeezing the trigger, that’s just weird to me. So In other words, the pot filler is the faucet, not at all what I expected. I’d have to tie a rubber band around the trigger to make it operate like a normal faucet. This is the only reason why I’m likely to return it.

A lot of Faucet for the Money
The faucet I ordered arrived on time and was well packaged. I was particularly impressed that the faucet itself was packed in a soft cloth bag to prevent the faucet from being scratched during shipping. I asked a friend who does plumbing as part of his job as a maintenance man to help with with the installation. He was very impressed with the quality of the faucet and the parts that came with the installation kit. It was his opinion that this faucet compared favorably with faucets that sold at much higher price points in retail stores. I priced a few new faucets in the stores and I have to agree with my friend. The installation went smoothly, however, I did need to purchase extensions for the water lines as the ones that were provided were too short to reach the connections under my sink. From reading the reviews I anticipated this and measured the length of the existing lines several days before I planned to install the faucet. This was due to my sink being set in a corner of my kitchen and about 20 inches away from the wall and required about 36 inches of line to make the connection. In a normal situation the connection lines that were included in the kit would have been sufficient. Along with the faucet, I also purchased a 3-hole cover plate and soap dispenser (from other sources), both in a brushed nickel finish. All three finishes matched perfectly. It is taking a little time to adjust from our old swivel faucet with the sprayer on the side to the high-arc faucet with the pull down sprayer but we are every happy with the change. The water pressure is higher with the new sprayer and it is much easier now to use to to rinse off pots and dishes and my wife is pleased with the new look.

Gorgeous but handle keeps falling off
I purchased this in August 2019 but decided to wait to write a review until I'd had time to actually use it. The most important thing to note on this faucet is that it is beautiful, it looks really modern and high quality and was very easy to install. My problem with it is that about a month ago (8 months after installing it), the handle came off. In case you're wondering, my family and I have been using the faucet like regular people would, nothing extreme. We've reattached it since, but every once in a while (probably twice a week) it falls off again. For the price I paid this is a gorgeous faucet, however it is very annoying and impractical to have to reattach the handle every few days. If you don't mind using the faucet and having the handle suddenly come off, then I'd definitely recommend it.

I could not be happier. It’s a heavy tap, it doesn’t feel like some flimsy/cheap thing. The sprayer wand is metal so it heats up with hot water but if the water is too hot to touch you’ll probably be wearing rubber washing gloves so I don’t see that being a problem. For installation they give you a metal washer that is pretty flimsy. I ended up using the old one I had from my prior tap so the base wouldn’t wobble. Otherwise it was a simple installation. The only complaint I have is that the handle goes back quite far when on full/cold so I had to install the base at a slight angle to avoid it knocking the backsplash. From what I could tell this can’t be adjusted. Aesthetically I’m not bothered by this but ideally it should be installed in line with the sink. I saw lots of comments concerned with how the spray nozzle only works when you hold it but if you’ve worked in a commercial kitchen every dish pit sink has the same set up. I purchased a “used-like new” item so I was a bit worried but the hot/cold hoses were still in a sealed package so I was very happy I risked it for that discount.

Initially very happy with this tap however after it had been installed for 2 months the copper end of the pot filler has become very loose and keeps coming off. The tap comes with a warranty card and I contacted the email address on there but received no reply. Amazon were no help either. I'm now stuck with a broken tap and no recourse to get it fixed. 8 months on from install it's now also leaking from the main on/off handle. The 5 year guarantee is a complete joke but it's still advertised as an 'Amazon choice' product. Despite trying I've had no contact from the seller or Amazon. DO NOT BUY

I get so many compliments on this faucet. People say it’s truly beautiful. You just have to get accustomed to the different settings. It really stands out in my new kitchen. Thank you.

We didn’t install the tap straight away so out of time to return. It drips from the on off component, which isn’t fixable - I contacted the seller within a couple of months of purchase but they refused to assist, stating the time for return had expired. i have had four plumbers look at the tap and each one has confirmed it is faulty. DO NOT BUY this product
