Renegade Game Studios Vampire: The Masquerade RPG (5th Ed.) - Second Inquisition

This does a great job filling in data for your "bad guys" in your chronicl - the only thing that is really missing from the primary book. Its an even better buy than the Anarch or Camarilla supplements, in my opinion!

This is not a reflection on the quality of the book, nor the contents. Purely on Amazon's ability to ship items without damaging them. Surely some effort can be made rather than an ill fitting plastic bag. Do better. Ps I really love the book!

Just as described and great reading

This supplement for Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition is a solid addition for storytellers looking to expand the threats facing their coterie. The book provides a wide range of antagonists, from government-backed black ops teams like FIRSTLIGHT to religious fanatics like the Society of St. Leopold. The adversaries are well-developed, with detailed backgrounds, equipment, and tactics that make them feel like real, persistent dangers rather than one-off encounters. It’s clear a lot of thought went into making them feel grounded in the world of V5. That said, the book leans heavily into modern political tones, particularly anti-fascist themes, and it does so with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer. While the World of Darkness has always explored mature, often uncomfortable topics, the moral framing here can start to feel repetitive and a bit preachy. In some places, it feels like the writers are more interested in making a point than providing flexible tools for a variety of playstyles. Still, if you’re willing to adapt some of the material to suit your own table, there’s a lot of value here—especially for storytellers who want to shift the focus from internal vampire politics to external threats. Just be aware that the tone may not be to everyone’s taste.
