It says machine washable.... do I use cold or warm water.

I am not sure, but I think that for vinyl, cold water would be better. The site says anti-scald and to dry on cool temps.

My preference for this size table 60 x 42 would be 70 x 52 . The fall from the table will be uniform all sides . If you prefer more fall from the table you may have to choose the next available bigger rectangular size.
