This Stuff Works!!!!! :-)
I had been having trouble with my clothing getting/smelling clean for awhile now and came across this product by accident. I only do small loads and can check in on the items throughout the process. This treatment absolutely works, but please don't use the whole packet at a time. The suds it creates when you're only using 1 teaspoon with soap is utterly amazing and you are just defeating the purpose and throwing away money on an already pricey product. Also, let your items soak in the warmest water they can stand for at least 2-3 hours. I have lost some color on some very old shirts, I'll admit, but the dirt that comes out of the load is always a surprise. Run extra rinses on your loads as well before putting them into the dryer. Check in on a load if you can and see where you stand on soap and treatment measurements. If you see an inch of thick, white foam that doesn't dissolve quickly; you've used too much of something. Never use more than 2 tablespoons of detergent, even on the largest, dirtiest of loads. It will only gunk up and eventually ruin your machine. I have a small mason jar that I opened the packets and dumped the contents into and measure out what I need when I'm doing a load. I only use 1/2 to 1 teaspoon now and you can see the water get clearer in a matter of a few minutes. Worth buying. Worth playing around with. Use less in your loads and save yourself some money. Good luck.

You won't believe what this will remove from your "clean" laundry!
I use this to strip cloth diapers if we get build-up or any stink/ammonia problems, but you can use it to strip just about anything that you can wash! I'm amazed at what it can pull out of what appears to be clean laundry! I just used RLR to strip my twin's Loveys. They are little blankets with bear heads on them and my children use them like pacifiers. They are always sucking on them and get them drenched in saliva, and carry them around getting god knows what on them. They each have 3 that I rotate so I can wash them after a day or two of use. Recently they had got to the point that they were smelly even after washing and drying. I tried adding a little bleach to the washer, but even that was only helping a little and not completely taking the stink away. I was getting desperate as these things were so stinky they made my stomach turn but my kids can't function without them! Anyway I used about half a packet dissolved in a small basin of very hot water and let the loveys soak overnight. Within 30 minutes the water was turning muddy and these had just come out of the washer! By the time the soak was over the water was disgusting, but the loveys were no longer stinky! I rinsed them and threw them in the washer and they smell amazing! Like when they were brand new! Plus the colors were bright and they were extremely soft. To strip a large amount of stuff: Fill your bathtub half full of very hot water and dissolve 3 packets. Add diapers or other items to be stripped. Stir occasionally and let soak until water is completely cool (or overnight). Rinse well and then wash with detergent in washing machine as usual. Use this on your towels, blankets, sheets, dingy clothing or work clothes. Anything that you want really clean or needs more than a regular wash to be really fresh. You won't be disappointed!

Just Buy It - It Works and It’s Simple
If you don’t want a magical powder for your smelly laundry that takes nearly zero effort then I cannot help you. When I used RLR the first time I honestly thought I was being scammed. It is powder in a packet that you toss in the washing machine with normal detergent and run through a regular cycle. No soaking, no extra steps, no pre-treating and no time consuming complex directions. Open the packet, dump the contents on laundry and proceed as normal. My husband produces some of the smelliest gym clothes and the free and clear detergent we are forced to use due to my eczema just is not cutting it. I’ve tried vinegar, extra rinse cycles and even enzymatic cleaners. The smell still lingers. It’s awful. RLR was my final hope. I now use it on my husband’s towels, pillow cases and our dogs’ bedding. It does not leave any scent behind but the laundry comes out of the machine clean and unfunky. It’s amazing. These packets are a little pricey but the alternative is stinky clothes that are not wearable. I don’t use RLR in every load and I have used half a packet in a small load with some success.

Great for cloth diapers!
I soaked these fitted diapers and hemp boosters in a pack of RLR and a small amount of detergent, hot water for about 4 hours, agitating them every hour to help loosen everything up. These were clean and had no stink but they were preloved so I wanted to deep clean them. You can see the RLR really did a good job, I’m guessing these were from a home with hard-ish water. I squeezed the water out and did a hot heavy wash in my machine, then another wash with a little detergent, then it took a couple more hot speed washes to get allll the cleaning agents out and have fresh, soft, beautiful diapers. If you are just trying to maintain your diaoers use the RLR right in your machine. If you have a problem and need to reset the soak might work better. Most importantly, don’t use too much detergent. If your diapers smell like ammonia, do a hot wash on CLEAN diapers with NO detergent and check for suds before going through the trouble of a strip. RLR won’t fix detergent built up, you have to rinse it all out.

Great for restoring cloth diapers
I’ve been pleased with this laundry detergent powder. It effectively whitens and brightens my baby cloth diapers and workout clothes, even tackling musty towels. The non-toxic, fragrance-free formula is gentle on sensitive skin, and the 12-pack lasts a long time. Great for diaper stripping/restoring for fellow cloth diaper enthusiasts!

Easy to use, decent product. Would probably work for everyday purposes.
This is an interesting item. I didn't order it to clean baby diapers or anything like that, though I'm sure it would do a fine job. My husband ordered this for me because I recently bought several pairs of black pants from several different retailers, and after one washing of each pair, seemed to release a monster that is the undying odor of sulfur dyes used to keep the fabric black. I tell you, I cannot wear a single pair of my four brand new pairs of black pants because the odor is sickening to me. It smells like overpowering chemicals and sulfur. I've tried several methods of removing the odor, like soaking in vinegar, Yaddi Yaddi Yadda, and NOTHING has helped. The smell is unwavering. Each pair of pants has been washed on the harshest settings at least 5 times now, and the smell has either remained the same or seems MORE powerful, somehow. It's definitely a huge waste of my hard earned money if I can't get these pants wearable. Then again - If I succeed in getting the horrific smells out, do I WANT to wear these pants? Imagine what chemicals would be leaching through my skin if I did?? Ugh. So, I've tried this stuff twice now on all of the pants, and while I thought it may have been helping after the first wash, now, after another smell test, I am not so sure. I think I'll wash the pants again, probably about 10 more times, and see what the status is at that point. I don't want to ding this product because it hasn't worked on my particular problem since it was labeled for stinky black pants dye. I am simply experimenting with whatever I can find. So, if it's baby diapers or other smells you need to remove from clothing, this is easy to use and probably effective. For my black pants... I may be donating them or simply tossing them.

Now I have the cleanest clothes ever!
This review is for RLR Laundry Treatment. This is so amazing! I bought this laundry treatment for my clothe diapers since they were not holding as much as usually. I felt like they needed stripping. I put the diapers in the wash and poured the powered in the front loader (not in the detergent dispenser) I did not add any detergent and I washed on the hottest sitting with a pre wash. I use front loaders too. I was so shocked at the amount of suds in the washer from the left over detergent in the diapers. Once the diapers were dry they were so white! The whitest they have been since I purchased them. Also they are so absorbent now. No more leaks! So I was right the diapers need stripping. I mailed one of these packets to my friend that is cloth diapering too. She did the same as me for washing and was also shocked at how much detergent ws left over in her diapers. This laundry treatment is so amazing. I also washed a load of white clothes the same way as the diapers. Once again shocked at the amount of detergent left over in my clothes and the white were so white. I love this stuff. I wish it was sold in a bucket like detergent instead of individual packets. It is sort of pricey. This package came with a few other items all shipped in the same box. There were no damages. The shipment came supper fast. I love how quick my orders come through amazon.

The ONLY way to truly strip laundry/cloth diapers!
I’ve been cloth diapering my fives kids on and off over the last 17 years and this stuff is a LIFE SAVER for cloth diapers! It’s proven to be just as useful for my younger ones with even more sensitive skin when we’ve had used washing machines, hand me down clothes, and friends/family contaminating our washer with fabric softener and optical brighteners that cause them skin issues even with regular clothes, not just the cloth diapers! A little bit in each wash with cloth diapers helps keep build up at bay and reduces the frequency of needing to strip them! Forget all the internet recommendations for weird and wacky ways to strip built up fabric softeners, scent beads, optical brighteners, and just general “laundry residue” in your laundry, THIS is the OG and is worth every penny!

Great for striping cloth diapers
Used them for my son's cloth diapers. Soaked the cloth diapers in the product then ran through laundry. Diapers came out clean and smelling fresh.

Great no nonsense product!
Use these when stripping my cloth diapers. We have hard water, so frequently deal with buildup, and a few hour’s soak in the tub with one of these packets cleans the diapers right up!

Does the job
This stuff is the best. I used to cloth diaper and used RLR all the time to clean them. Figured I'd do my towels. This is 7 large towels, two hours. They were in my closet "clean." I've found it best to use warm/hot water, a tablespoon of powered tide, and a whole package in the tub.
