Great knives. Wonderful company.

I bought these knives because my other steak knives were breaking where the knife meets the handle because the knife only extended about a half inch into the plastic handle. I like that these knives extend completely through the handle and are riveted to the handle. They come sharp and are easily sharpened. The only reasons why they are not 5 stars is that they are a little thin and flex when cutting dense food like 2LB block cheese and also are recommended hand wash only. But for the price I am satisfied overall considering most sets of steak knives are much more expensive.

A good basic non-serrated steak knife. I hadn't noticed the Farberware logo on the blades. I had hoped there were no markings. My mistake. As other reviews have noted, they are a little light. I don't really mind the weight, I do like the shape and that they were sharp right out of the packaging. I'm giving five stars because they do what a steak knife should do, with the understanding that I paid only $2.50 each

Nice looking knives, very sharp, but i noticed after hand washing they have tiny rust spots.

I needed to replace a set of decades old kitchen dinner knives. Recently, I purchased some economical steak knives for that purpose and they were great...for steak. You could probably cut down a tree with them, they were so sharp and were serrated. They did not do well cutting soft stuff like pancakes or tomatoes. I checked Amazon and found these Farberware knives. Most reviews were good, and the price was right for kitchen dinner use. The knives look good and cost around $1.50 each. They are light weight, but that is not a problem for us. They are incredibly sharp. Note my headline above. You normally do not have to read instructions on how to open a blister packed set of knives. So, I did not read the cautionary instructions about opening up the package. I am not a klutz, but ended up slicing one finger on each hand - instantly. You can probably shave or do surgery with these knives when not dining, Be cautious opening the package and use the handles with removing the knives from the wrapping. Also, I wish that they were dishwasher safe. Unfortunately, the stickers on the blades indicate that you must dry them immediately after washing, For the price, they are a good buy. Just be careful when handling them.

Very affordable knives. They are really for everyday use, and not any type of specialty knives, but still hold up well and the price is great.

For an inexpensive set of knives, these do a nice job. I needed a set of knives to keep at work for my lunches, when a butter knife or plastic knife just wouldn't cut it ;) These knives aren't serrated, so keep that in mind, but they arrive pretty sharp, and work for meat, cheese, and other items. They are pretty light weight, so if you give them a lot of use and run them a lot through the dishwasher, you'll probably notice the wear over time. Those these will work, if you want a set of steak knives, you may want to look at some serrated blades instead. Either way, I'm pleased with what I got for what I paid.

Steak knives stay sharp, they still work great 6 months later!

Bons couteaux qui coupent plutôt bien, passent au lave vaisselle et sont assez résistants. Seul petit point négatif, le tranchant s'émousse donc vos couteaux ne sont plus aussi tranchants. Néanmoins se sont de bons couteaux de table
