Review: No matter what, never quit - Think Big is book 4 of the Live Big Series. This time Baboon is helping Kudu, Giraffe and the Bees find their SHHHH. One question keeps coming up within the book, as it does in daily life as well, “What Do I Do?” Everyone asks themselves this question daily, if not multiple times a day. That one question will help guide children to overcome and face some of their challenges and fears and learn to become brave and step outside their comfort zone a little bit to help others. This story wonderfully weaves in the confidence of being grateful and being the best you can be without giving up and quitting when things don’t go the way you want them to go. Children are drawn in with the bright, vibrant illustrations and their attention is maintained throughout with the story and the characters. There are some great activities that can be done at the end of the book to help children understand and learn better about what was read. Definitely recommend reading to children at storytime and bedtime

Great Lessons
While I thought the flow of the book and the events in the book were a little weird, the messages that were trying to be portrayed are good ones for kids. The two main messages of believing in oneself and working together are obviously important lessons to learn. I do like that the author showed the struggle of the ideas and that it takes a little bit of work, confidence, and efficacy to get to believing in yourself, and it wasn’t just confidence from the beginning. The growth of the aspects were present, which I found important. I also liked the last pages of the book labeled “Notes for two-leggers of all ages”. Great lessons to be learned.

Great book for kids
Children should be taught that they can do what they set their minds to and this book does a good job of getting that message out. It also teaches that you shouldn't limit yourself to what you want to do. Good book!

Believe in yourself
This is a beautifully illustrated story that teaches children to believe in themselves. It also teaches caring for each other and working together to solve problems. The drawings of the animals celebrating by shaking their Pom-poms is too cute. The book includes questions and activities at the end to help your heart and mind connect so you can Think Big.

Finally, the third secret.
Every book in this series is magical in ways often forgotten. This entry on the series is about believing in yourself and being grateful for how you’re made. Star dust is all around us and within us all you have to do is think big.

Whoosh! Wham ! I can …..
I believe I have found my new favorite Children’s Author! There is just something magical about how Kat pulls all these characters and feelings together. My Early Learners class love the take on twinkle twinkle. Kats ability to tell a story while building up children is just it for me! In a world where we have no idea what’s going on children are going home to and to be able to build them up at school , while teaching them again to find that magic inside is so powerful. I can not say it enough you will not be disappointed with any of the books by Kat add them to all the libraries of your little loved ones , teachers , daycare’s, you will simply not regret it.

Great Inspiration for Children of All Ages
It is always fun to read children's books rooted in a great story that inspires kids to build a fun life with others. The illustrations and the use of animals as characters add to an engaging lesson in "Think Big." I would recommend it for every home's library.
