Samsonite Xenon 3.0 Gusset Check-Point Friendly Tech Locker Brief

I've had several different bags during my career and this has been my favorite by far. It has several different storage areas and each is set up to hold many different things. You can carry a tablet, computer, cell phone, pens, etc., all with special slots to hold them. It feels pretty strong and I'm pretty hard on bags but haven't noticed any flaws in the first month I've had it. It is also pretty light, which makes carrying a bunch of things much nicer. It also has the strap on the back to rest on luggage, which is nice. Overall, exactly what I expect from Samsonite, good quality and a fair price (not cheap but worth every penny).

The layout is really, really well thought out. Easy to access each section, with internal organizer spread out. I carry my work laptop, charger, two hardback books, a journal, and lots of miscellaneous gear inside and never find myself “fishing” about - everything is just where I put it, from pens to mini notepads and cables. An excellent choice that looks modern and stylish for a professional.

This is a great briefcase for traveling because it has a strap for hanging onto your carry-on handles and opens at the top like a file folder. It holds all my airplane electronics and then some. I travel every other month and this has been a lifesaver!

I got this for my husband to replace the Samsonite computer bag he’s had for many years. It finally started to wear out, so I had hoped to duplicate that one. This one is smaller, and you have to slip the computer in from the top, like it’s a file folder. The old one opened up to place the computer into a special section. Much easier. The outside of the new one is softer, and it doesn’t look like it will last as long. We were able to get my husband’s computer inside, and his is almost 17”, but it’s a snug fit. Overall, my husband is happy with it. He uses it once a week for Rotary Club meetings since he is the club secretary. It holds his computer, power cord, paperwork and extras he has to carry. He’s in his late 70s so it’s light enough to carry along with a projector and eco dart bag, as needed. I just hope it lasts for a few years. I’m not sure if would hold up to everyday wear though. I would scale up for that if you want durability.

I wanted to buy a bag that wasn't too big but could carry a lot of items, including a big laptop for work. This bag has a lot of pockets and storage that make it easy to organize and carry everything I need. The price often flucuates so I would recommend you wait to see if the price drops if you are not in a hurry to get a new bag. I have been using it for a few weeks, and it looks stylish and has held up well.

Most of the briefcases sold by Amazon do not have any discription about the size of the interior pockets and usually don't even tell you how many divders there are inside. It's up to you to look at the pictures and try to guess. Samsonite had been in the luggage business for a very long time and it shows in the quality and interior design. Because of the lack of descriptions for most bags I ordered 10 different briefcases before I got this Samsonite briefcase which had every feature I wanted and held all of the items I needed to carry. This is a quality product in every sense of the word.

After a month of use the handle strap is already ripping. Of course happens after the return window. Amazon came through with good customer service, and helped me with refund even after return window ended. I am replacing with Luxorro Leather Briefcase For Men, Multiple Compartments, Fits 17 Inch Laptop, Black. Hoping this will be more durable but a lot more expensive. Will buy extend warranty for piece of mind. Samsonite is cheap and overpriced do not buy because of the name. Usually I am not posting reviews but want to warn others before they buy. A lot of petty reviews are usually posted but if you are looking for practical use and durability review this bag is not worth the money and quality is lacking. Handle should not be ripping this quickly.

This bag feels strongly made amd features durable material and hardware. I like that it is rigid enough to stand on its own, while not being so stiff that it looks like a suitcase. A very well thought out design with pockets for everything you need for work and travel. My prior one, same version held up 10 years before the interior fabric began wearing out. Overall a great value for the money.
