My sons Autism specialist explained to me that his high level of copper in the blood was depleting his zinc levels.  Why do you they add copper?

Zinc and copper are antagonists in the body. If one is high it depletes the other. This zinc has the zinc and copper in an ideal ratio to not cause any imbalance from one metal becoming to high. In your sons case, I would opt for zinc without copper added. I recommend zinc picolinate.

Some of us take PRESERVISION ,which contains 34.8 zinc oxide, for MACULAR DEGENERATION.What is the difference between ZINC OXIDE and ZINC METHIONINE?

My favorite form of zinc supplementation is zinc gluconate because it is always (very reliably) much lower in cadmium, an extremely toxic heavy metal, than all other forms of zinc supplementaion.  Also, zinc gluconate is very inexpensive compared to zinc monomethionine, which can be absorbed by the human body somewhat better.  However, if your medical doctor (opthalmologist) prescribed Preservision, then I would stay with it to prevent losing his approval of your actions.  Swallowing any of the 10 different forms of zinc supplementation would supply the very beneficial antioxidant mineral, zinc, which has been shown in scientific studies to help in preventing and treating diarrhea.  The other 2 very beneficial antioxidant minerals are selenium and iodine.  Although it is not an antoxidant, magnesium is the most beneficial mineral in human nutrition because it has been shown in scientific studies to strongly prevent sudden cardiac deaths (heart attacks).  In addition to whole grains, almonds, and wild ocean fish, the best food sources of magnesium include all green vegetables.  The green color in plants is caused by the pigment, chlorophyll.  Each chlorophyll molecule contains exactly one magnesium atom.  Think of magnesium whenever you see the green color in plants.As for macular degeneration, I would completely stop eating beef, lamb, pork, turkey, chicken, eggs, high-fat dairy, fast foods, fried foods, salty chips, cakes, and pastries.  I would swallow at least 6mg of lutein softgels every day the rest of my life.  I would swallow 3mg to 5mg of astaxanthin softgels every day.  I would swallow 4,000mg of triphala tablets or capsules every day.  I would swallow at least 120mg of benfotiamine capsules every day.  I would swallow exactly 2,000 IU of vitamin D softgels every day.  Do not swallow more than 2,000 IU of vitamin D every day because it would negate the entire benefit of swallowing vitamin D.  I would swallow at least 500mg of vitamin B3/niacin (as nicotinic acid) tablets every day.  Swallowing niacinamide, flush-free niacin, or time-release niacin would not have any health benefit.  I would swallow Double Strength Fish Oil softgels every day.  I would swallow exactly one 1,200mg conjugated linoleic acid softgel every day.  I would chew several multi-probiotic capsules in my mouth every day.  I would chew (or swallow) 1,000mcg of vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin) tablets every day.  I would eat foods made from soybeans such as natto (healthiest), tofu, edamame, unsweetened soymilk, soy sprouts, soy yogurt, soy meat, etc.  I would eat cabbage family (cruciferous) vegetables raw.  I would eat lily family (allium) vegetables raw.  I would eat tomato paste and raw tomatoes.  I would eat shiitake mushrooms (healthiest) and white button mushrooms.  I would swallow reishi mushroom capsules every day.  I would swallow astragalus capsules every day.  I would eat the seaweed called, nori (laver).  I would keep extra virgin olive oil in my home and immediately throw away all other vegetable oils.  I would drink olive leaf tea, white tea (and/or green tea), and South African rooibos tea (and/or South African honeybush tea).  I would eat fat-free yogurt.  I would eat wild ocean fish, cooked by boiling in water without adding any salt.  I would wear high quality sunglasses.  I would pray to God for a miracle.  Good luck.

Is it necessary to take more extra copper with this product? Or does it contain the sufficient thing? I ask for persons who have enough time using it?

I'm sorry, I am not sure about that. I do take another multi-vitamin that has copper but not enough zinc for my liking.

Zinc monomethionine is 21 percent elemental zinc by weight. Does this have 143 grams of Zinc monomethionine and 30 grams of elemental zinc?

The 30mg listed on the label currently represents the total amount of the compound as zinc methionine sulfate encompassed in each 1 tablet serving. Additionally, according to our raw material supplier files, approximately 20% of the compound is elemental zinc, which is approximately 6mg of elemental zinc per tablet.
