I wanted a desk lamp that would clear the extra tall monitor height of my set up so I bought this to combine with the "NEEWER Extendable Camera Desk Mount" and a couple of other items. The end result is perfect for my needs. The light is nicely diffused, very bright and compact. Complete with an easy to use, very well laid out app. Neewer have fast become a name I associate with quality and innovation and I strongly recommend this light bar.

Great for adding a creative splash of light to a scene. The on-board controls are quick and easy to use, just remember to use the lock touchbar option or you can easily accidentally adjust something. For more detailed and creative control, the companion app lets you sync the light to a sound source, set up gradient transitions or themed scenes like police cars, fireworks, TV screen etc. The app will also let you control and sync up multiple devices. The light comes with a bunch of mounting options, lanyard strap, magnets, even a waterproof sleeve.

Very good quality light and ideal for lots of scenarios. It even comes with a water sealed pouch if you need some extreme lighting. Great brightness levels and it's packed with features... Only tiny negative for me is that the controls and touch panel are a bit fiddly. Maybe just takes some getting used to... But even with the touch bar locked I still somehow kept accidentally changing the light colour while just repositioning the light... a bit annoying... But as I say it's a very good light. Ideal as a back light / Cyc light for product filming.

When I first purchased the NEEWER RGB LED Video Light Stick with Touch Bar, I was excited about the prospect of enhancing my video recording and photography projects with customizable lighting. Initially, the product seemed promising, and I appreciated its sleek design and touch bar functionality. However, my enthusiasm quickly waned after just a day of use. The main issue I encountered was that the light stick would heat up significantly during operation. This unexpected warming effect not only made it uncomfortable to handle but also raised concerns about potential damage to the device over prolonged use. Additionally, I found it quite unusual that when the battery level dropped, the light stick started blinking. This feature, or rather flaw, was both confusing and frustrating, as it disrupted my work and made it difficult to achieve consistent lighting in my videos and photos. Considering the price of this LED video light stick, I had expected a higher level of performance and reliability. Unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations, and I struggled to overlook the significant downsides it presented. Ultimately, my disappointment led me to return the product. I was genuinely unsatisfied with the overall experience, especially given its relatively higher price tag compared to other similar lighting options available in the market. While the NEEWER RGB LED Video Light Stick had potential, the issues with overheating and the bizarre blinking behavior when the battery was low made it unsuitable for my needs. I cannot recommend this product in its current state, and I would advise others to explore alternative options that offer better performance and value for money.

Did an photo shoot but need more lighting. This product was grate. Being able to control from the app and the able to stick it to anything mental was life saving. Only down side was the colour changing control is very sensitive.

This light has been really great so far. I bought it for 2 reasons, camping and filming. I have yet to use it filming but have used it a couple times camping and they light has been super hand. The screen and colour changing touch part works really nice, I like that you can lock it so it doesn’t change. Light: The light overall is really bright, whites and colours. I like that you can change the hue and saturation levels in the colour to really dial in the tone you want. Changing the brightness is really easy and if you hold the + or minus it will skip by 10% instead of just going by 1% for every click (really smart design) App: I haven’t really used the app all too much because the control on the light has been so good I have no need to get my phone out! Included accessories: The directional light shade seems decent for what it is and I appreciate that a soft case is included to protect the light a little when travelling and having it in a bag. It also came with a underwater case much like phones have so that will be interesting to try out. Battery: The battery life has been pretty impressive! It has lasted long enough for a 2 night camping trip. Didn’t see to many other light options with a 6400mah battery. I’ve even left it on in my room with other complimentary coloured lights and the battery lasts. Overall I’m happy with this purchase although it would be nice to see the price point come down under $100 and I would consider getting a second one

I bought 2 of these and didn't really have any expectations. But boy, they're actually pretty good! I woudl say sliigghhtttly less bright than my Luxceo light wands but only by a little bit. LOVE it's touch operated as well as Bluetooth/app operated. You can change the tint, temp, brightness with full RGB options. It also came with so many useful accessories too so the value for money for these are excellent. I haven't checked to see if they do bigger/longer and brighter versions of this but if they do then I might look at getting them as they're super good so far.

Work like a charm and flawless Bluetooth connections. Used it for music studio lights, primarily for vlogging and video capture. Especially helpful with wireless connection for refinement of lighting from a distance. Awesome product!

Good quality product. The strap provided with it is cheap quality but rest all is amazing. Brighter than you might anticipate

Das dies kein Flutlichtstrahler für Fussballstadien ist sollte jedem klar sein. Dennoch habe ich es nach den ersten Tests als ausreichend hell empfunden und würde es sogar als Renovierungsleuchte empfehlen. Die Lampe erhellt mein Wohnzimmer von knapp 20 qm mehr als genug. Für Aufnahmen von Portaits bräuchte es nicht einmal diese Helligkeit. Nach durchlesen der Bedienungsanleitung war die Handhabung überaus einfach. Auch die Verbindung mit dem Handy über Bluetooth klappte schnell. Die Einstellungen über Bluetooth empfinde ich sogar einfacher als über die Tasten an der Lampe. Fummelig ist das Anbringen des Gitter Lichtschirms. Barndoors wären mir lieber gewesen. Aber gut, werden ja nicht beworben. Der Schutzbeutel ist gut verarbeitet und bietet ausreichend Schutz zum Transport jedoch nicht gegen Stöße. Der wasserdichte Beutel ist sicherlich auch ein guter Regenschutz wenn man im freien mit der Lampe arbeitet. Die Handschlaufe sieht auch wertig aus, jedoch wünschte ich mir an der langen Schlaufe zum aufhängen auch eine 1/4 Zoll Ösenschraube. Die beigelegten Silikonendstücke sind eigentlich negativ zu bewerten da sie schnell abfallen könen währen man mit der LAmpe in der HAnd arbeitet. Fest mit eingearbeitet wäre es sicherlich besser gewesen. Die Bedienung per App ist einfach und es lassen sich sogar Lichtfarben kopieren die man ruckzuck auf die Lampe übertragen kann. Sinnvoll ist auch das abspeichern von Lichtszenen um sie schnell wieder abrufen zu können. Das display ist gut aufgebaut und leicht abzulesen. Bei Bedienung der Lampe per App werden die Daten im Display in Lichtgeschwindigkeit angezeigt. Alles in allem hat die Lampe aber aufgrund von Verarbeitung, Bedienbarkeit und Austattung ihre 5 Sterne verdient.
