100% machined brass unit made in the USA! Pictured is side by side with original equipment corroded import part that failed next to brass replacement. New part is made to be easily serviced due to superior engineered design and flawless construction. Received sooner than anticipated. Part fit perfectly and installed without any problems. Description says 3/8" compression inlet. My current broken check valve inlet takes a 3/8" soft copper tube held down with a 1/2 " ferrule ring and a compression nut. However, the outside diameter of 3/8 soft copper is actually 1/2". Since the description said 3/8" I ordered this unit figuring it would work. NOT SO. This unit looks to be well built, but I can't use. I returned it today. If the description clearly pointed out the actual inside diameter of this inlet, there would not have been this problem.
