I've been using Mirai Clinical Natural Deodorant this past month and it's my favorite of all the brands I have come across. It goes on light, lasts long through the day, and works great! Someone told me about this brand and I decided to check it out. I don't think I have Nonenal issues yet, but for sure I have body odor. This deodorant solved that from what I've noticed these past several weeks during the day and after exercising. It's nice not worrying about how I smell because I know that my Mirai is working. Other brands I have used are Mitchum Clinical Deodorant/Antiperspirant and Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Deodorant/Antiperspirant. I checked the ingredients on those brands against Mirai's "What we don't use" list and found those products use unfriendly synthetic surfactants, synthetic polymers, skin-unfriendly synthetic preservatives, and skin-unfriendly fragrances. Well! So glad I made the switch to Mirai where they put a lot of research and care into the quality of their products, which makes them so much more trustworthy than other brands on the market. I always thought I needed to use a scented deodorant antiperspirant and after finding out about Mirai, I want to stay away from anything with aluminum and skin-unfriendly ingredients and go towards natural ingredients that are healthy for the skin! (I did a test to see how much residue my deodorants leave. Each brand I brushed against a black t-shirt with slight pressure. Mitchum leaves the most, Donna Karan leaves a lighter streak and Mirai is barely visible. And after 5 days, Mirai is gone, Donna Karan has gone away a bit & Mitchum is still heavy).

Love this product for "Old People Smell". Not sticky at all. Use with persimmon soap and Kitsch net scrubber cloths. Eliminate 2-Nonenal smell.

I started noticing the horrible STENCHY odor of NONENAL ODOR, just a few months ago while with my walking partner... How embarrassing & humiliating during our walks. I'd never heard of it, and started staying up practically all night for days researching it. Mines is a horrible STENCH, that seems to emit from my pores, onto my skin, seeping into the fabric of my clothes, bed sheets & pillow cases. And it's a constant challenge just to wash or scrub it sufficiently off my skin&body, #1. And #2, it's awful that it seeps back onto my skin (especially the armpits!!!). Making it nearly impossible to keep this persistent stench away. It's humiliating if I'm around or standing near people. I'm sooo self conscious, almost paranoid. After experiencing just how STUBBORN and nearly impossible (so far) it is to wash out this AWFUL stench out of my laundry. I just read several articles explaining that SOAP&WATER can NOT wash away nonenal odor! So I'm still looking for a Landry detergent, because not even a laundry boost, soaking in white vinegar, baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, not even ammonia (they all help alittle, but NOT completely) can get rid of this stench. And of course my armpits are the absolute WORST and is the culprit of this HUMILIATING stench. So, I was estatic discovering the product line of Mirai specifically formulated for the stench of nonenal odor..... * "wamp-wamp-waaamp" * I REALLY NEEDED THESE PRODUCTS TO WORK, buuut... they FAILED MISERABLY, and had little to zero effect. Mirai soap may have lasted 7-10days. The Mirai deoderant approx 3wks. And is way too expensive (over $40 in less than 30days) to try it again. 😒 * The search continues *

Sadly, this one isn't a win for me. I usually stick with Native and was hoping to make the switch, but my underarms didn't last long before odor kicked in. It also left a residue that made my skin feel chafed. I'm in my 30s, so I can't speak to how it might work for different stages of life. But as a girly who deals with stronger smells, I'll have to pass on this one. Positive notes, the citrus note is light and smells great. I like the natural ingredients approach this brand takes versus heavy metals. It did ship fast as well.
