Clearly a high quality hose that performs as advertised: it’s very kink resistant, lightweight, flexible & easy to maneuver, and has leakproof fittings. Also rolls up beautifully on my hose reel. Even the supplied nozzle is nice. Highly recommended.

Solid, absolutely no risk of it ever kinking unless you do something catastrophic with it. It's indeed lightweight and easy to move around with and the nozzle is wonderful. I'm wondering how it'll feel to use after summer sun had beaten down on it though :\ Might report back later on that.

Simply put, the most amazing hose I have ever had the pleasure of dragging around the yard, with one "but"... I've had years to perfect my hose-dragging technique to prevent snags and tangles. The 100' length of the hose, its light weight, and flexibility made it possible for me to not need one 100" hose for the front yard and another for the back. My "pathing calculations" have been reduced to extremely minimal levels, freeing me to take different routes around the yard. It is very lightweight making it easy to drag and flick the wrist to wave the sprinkle wand around. I did not use the nozzle that came with it, and it works perfectly with the spray wand I do like. It also seems reinforced on the ends to prevent leakage at the connectors, but I still prefer to drag by the hose and not the handle. The only "problem" I have with this hose is that it could be a dangerous slip/trip hazard on concrete/hard surfaces. The segmented, hard metal shell design means it does not squish when stepped on. On a hard surface, it's like stepping on ball bearings and falling is a real danger. On dirt or grass it just squishes into the ground, so no problem - but leaving it stretched out on a driveway or patio could lead to a painful accident. I would given this hose five stars if I didn't have to worry about another disabling slip and fall accident. However, I am willing to learn to not step on the hose, and the shiny silver color does make it very easy to see.

Wow, I love this hose, lol. By far the best garden hose I’ve ever purchased. Hundred foot length is awesome. It’s very light, and it absolutely does not kink. Also, the connectors/couplings are decent quality, unlike some other off-brand Chinese hoses I’ve purchased from Amazon. I also like how easy the hose is to roll up into my hose reel. Only time will tell how durable this hose will be. If I have any issue going forward, I’ll post an update.

Today is the first day I used the hose. I should have purchased the 50 foot not 25 foot. However, this hose does not kink and it is very lightweight in actual weight of the hose. The hose states it is heavy duty construction and I am hoping it is. I initially thought I did not get teh plastic hose sprayer/nozzle as I saw on some reviews. However, I did. When I took the hose out of the box, the nozzle fell on the ground. Therefore, you will get one, just be sure you don't drop it If the hose does not last in the next 3 months, I will lower this rating. I am expecting it to last for at least 2 years.

Updated on March 2025- still working as my back yard hose. Bought one a couple of years ago. I think this is the best expandable hose I’ve ever owned. I don’t receive any money or other payment to leave a sparkling review. Another plus is that I don’t have to hold the nozzle to keep water flowing. Just turn nozzle to desired volume and I spray down the entire backyard rocks and turf to wash down the pee and poop smells. Only issue is that I am finished spraying before I want to quit! Not really an issue. Buying a 2nd bionic hose for the front now. My landscapers haven’t broken this hose yet and I had to replace the other expanding hoses every year. Stop looking for a better hose. You can thank me later! Quality is so much better than the regular expanding hoses that the Tim The Tool Man Helper was hawking. Just get this hose! It has its own adjustable or twisting watering valve on the end that I wasn’t sure if it would be a strong enough stream but WOW, I’m so happy I bought this hose! I live in Phoenix and watch my water usage because we have a water shortage. Every few days , I pick up dog poop from the backyard rocks and fake grass. I want to spray down the entire yard to get rid of the poop and pee smells for my dog and to keep flies away. It would take a good 15 minutes to wash down the entire backyard with the other expanding hoses and the sprayer that came w/each one but this spray nozzle and hose cuts the time down to 2-3 minutes. The strong sprayer allows me to spray the farthest points of my yard without having to move back and forth. It’s a water and time saver! I need two hoses but decided to see how this worked before buying the 2nd unit but I will be buying another. No worries about the expansion like the rest of the expansion hoses getting twisted or stuck on a pot, rock or decorative brick & flagstone. Easy to wind up near the spigot. Don’t need to place it in a storage area or keep out of the sun like the usual expandable hoses. The other expansion hoses were not meant for the Phoenix sun/heat or my landscapers who were using it incorrectly. not pulling the entire hose out before turning on the water. the other expansion hoses lasted about one season here but I’m working on the 2nd season w/this hose. (Update 3 years and still working perfectly.) Highly recommend this hose especially if you are concerned about water use, sun/heat damaging, needing to pull hose out w/o kinks/knots before turning on water to prevent damage to expansion hoses and if you need/desire a lightweight water hose with fantastic nozzle sprayer! I have some issues w/using my hands, arms & needed a lightweight alternative. Wasn’t sure if the metal hose would be too heavy for me to use for the 15-20 minutes the other hoses would take but it’s extremely lightweight & so quick/efficient to water down the entire backyard that I want to keep working but I’m done way before I’m tired. Has it all. No negatives w/this hose!

I bought this after getting frustrated with expandable hoses constantly getting run over and ruined by delivery drivers. This has been a much better solution overall. It doesn’t kink like rubber hoses, and while it can still get tangled, it’s a very different experience. Unlike fighting with rubber hoses or those flat expandable ones that can be a nightmare to untwist, with this one you can usually just give it a few shakes and the tangles come right out. It feels durable and has been much easier to work with than I expected. My only concerns are long term. Because it’s metal, I do worry about it scratching my new vehicle if it brushes against the side, and I’m also curious how it will hold up in freezing temperatures. Time will tell on those. Overall though, so far I’m happy with it and it’s been a big improvement over other hoses I’ve used.
