The Guide to go to When Seeking Information on Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
Katie Novak is a pioneer in Universal Design for Learning (UDL). I read an earlier edition of this book and wished that I had read it sooner. Her ideas and presentation of this approach are focused on making classroom teaching more productive and effective. Dr. Novak has coauthored two other books (with Dr. Catlin R. Tucker): "UDL and Blended Learning," and "The Shift to Student-Led." I have purchased both books (along with the revised version of "UDL Now!") and am looking forward to the opportunity to complete reading them.

Fantastic Update
The third edition of UDL Now really demonstrates Katie Novak's commitment to the learning process. Through her learning journey and evolution as a UDL practitioner we are able to gain insight into the process of change as we look to begin or continue on our own UDL journeys. Throughout this book Katie shares great examples of UDL in practice and also includes information on other experts in the field, giving the reader opportunities to explore topics in greater depth from a variety of resources. As a school administrator, I feel like this book needs to be in the hands of every teacher.
