Spartan Mosquito Pro Tech – Supplemental Box (1 of 2 Required Boxes)

The Spartan Mosquito Pro-Tech really work. We bought two packs of these and followed the directions in placement. We have a small yard so we spoke with our neighbor and put two in the far corners of his yard and two in the opposite corners of our yard. These are fantastic. It took a few days to work, but the mosquitos are gone!! I can sit outside and not get bitten. I am not sure how long they will work but so far, it is great!

First of all, I live in South Florida (thank you, I appreciate your sympathy at this difficult time). From May to November, it rains every.single.day. And I was lucky enough to buy a house on 2 acres with about 100 cypress trees on the low-lying property. (Don’t worry - I’m getting to the point!) What we didn’t realize is that our property is MAJORLY in need of lots of fill and leveling because when it rains/pours my front and back yards turn into their own lakes. I’ve got about 3 separate ones, along with a half dozen mini ponds that pop up as well. And if we get enough rain, it’ll take a week of hot, 🥵 humid, Florida sunshine to dry them back up into normal grass. And these aren’t the fun “let’s get out the arm floaties and sip some margs” kinda lakes. These are the types of mosquito brothels that you wouldn’t BELIEVE!!! I have a screened in patio, but I have 3 dogs that are in and out of the yard, so we try to keep the door propped open but unless you’re covered head to toe, you’ll be eaten alive by mosquitoes the size of half dollars. (Sidenote: I do own a full beekeepers suit my mother bought my husband for lawn mowing when he was bitten by 2 wasps and we found out he was allergic. And I have no shame in admitting I’ve worn it as mosquito protection on the porch.) I found someone talking about this product on our towns Facebook page and I had to give it a try. I know the directions say to span it out a lot further but I put them on the two trees outside, closest to my patio. And promptly forgot about them for about a month. Someone posted again on the town Facebook, asking if they knew when they were spraying for mosquitoes because they were getting so bad. That’s when I realized that I hadn’t seen or been bitten by a mosquito. In a month. I checked on my husband and son. No bites. It’s now been 4 months and I haven’t had a mosquito bite yet. You need this product. Everyone needs it. It’s magical and I don’t even care what’s in it. Mosquitoes are the Devils House pet and this product 💯 delivers at keeping them AWAY!!

My yard is infested with mosquitoes due to the park and creek behind my house. Given other reviews, I was hopeful that this product would help me combat my mosquito problem so I could enjoy gardening again with out welts for weeks. Shipping was prompt and I followed the instructions in quickly hung these in the shrubbery along the edge of my property at each corner on June 30. I've checked the water level weekly. With them being up almost a month, I have only found less than 10 mosquitoes in one trap and NONE in the other. I am beyond disappointed and view these as a BIG waste of money.

Updated update: I really cannot say enough about the customer service & effort Spartan has made to help us have success controlling our mosquito problem. Haven’t experienced this kind of customer service before and am confident that if we are still having issues next year we can reach out for more advice. We have learned so much and are better prepared for next season knowing now the best way to approach our property and its problem areas. I know we need to start earlier in the season and need to attack a larger area because of the size and openness of our property. Big thank you to Spartan for all their help. Updated review- no improvement in results but seller reached out and offered to help us determine placement and said we needed more tubes for the size of property due to outlying forest.

Recommended by a friend in Hawaii. No luck using it in Florida, no sign of any insects (1) in the water after at least 2 weeks outside. Installed at least 80 feet away as recommended.

I don't have an acre so 2 have been plenty! I've been in my house 10 years and have never been able to comfortably sit outside past dusk. I put these.up along the perimeter of my back yard. Not only has it stopped mosquitoes in my yard but also both my neighbors!!! This had been a God send for me!!! Since these have been up, I gotten only 1 bite! That's nothing compared to the 30 whacks an hour! I will buy again and again and I will tell everyone to buy them! I'm due to replace in a month, so placing another order now haha

I live in the heart of NC, I call it the armpit of the US (in the summer time). It’s a beautiful place no doubt but in the summer it’s like breathing through a hot wet rag, the humidity is insane and the mosquitos THRIVE here, all too well. I’m allergic, but I have a small farm on a partially wooded property. I’m allergic to mosquitos, bites will swell me up and itch for atleast a week and I have an autoimmune disease that makes my skin scar badly. The bites BURN, it’s like I can feel it all the way to my bones. I can say these do make a difference, I hang them in the woods near my barn, so when I’m working out here I don’t get 20 bites in 10 minutes. These are expensive but they do help!! Mosquitos bite here from late February to early November. It’s my own personally hell, but these do help! I use big spay most of the year, but in the worst months I use these too.
