SVBONY Telescope Filter 1.25" Moon, CPL, Five Color Filters Kit for Enhance Lunar Planetary Views&Contrast Reduce Light Pollution(7PCS)

I bought these because I thought that putting them on the telescope would enhance the view of the planets. They would cut the glare so that I could see the plant features better. On nebula, I though I would be able to see them in an enhanced way, with the bright colours like on brochures. They don't work like that. So I give them 5 stars, because they do filter the view and they do that well. I went through them and selected a few that do make the storms on Jupiter and Saturn easier to see. But not nearly what I incorrectly thought they could do. Hence my review title. They work, but, take advise as to whether they would enhance your viewing or not. You may need to try astrophotography instead. Astrophotography is what produces those nice colourful planet and nebula pictures, not filters.

The filters are well made. Screwed onto my celestron eyepieces without any issues. I have not officially tried them out yet, but I can tell that the filters will be a great addition to my telescope and for sky viewing. Also, it is awesome that each filter came in individual cases. Will be trying the filters out this week and will provide an update.

The filters fit nice and snug on the eyepiece.

These filters are exactly what I was looking for to augment my planetary astronomy. Each came in an individual protective case. They thread flawlessly onto all of my 1.25” eyepieces (and I have eyepieces from several manufacturers). At this price they are an amazing buy. I recommend them without reservation.

good quality product, i got this set 'cause include for 82A.. i can use it like moon filter with 73% transmission and at the same time light pollution trap...awesome.......i just tell you you can not stack them

These filters work great for the money and for the average person.

I'm new to visual astronomy, and bought a set thinking something in here would help. Not too impressed with any of it. The moon filter would be helpful if these were double threaded, but they aren't. Without being able to stack filters, the moon filter is way too weak for a 10" aperture scope. None of the other filters have seemed to help with city light pollution, or deep sky objects. Hindsight being 20-20, I would have passed on this set, which is pretty much worthless for visual astronomy. Instead (and is what I'm doing now), I would have started with a couple of double threaded moon filters. Then a UHC filter. Then maybe trying an O3 filter. None of which were included in this set.

When I try to put the filters in my eyepiece, the thread diameter is to small and they won't stay on. The heighth of the thread section is also to short, so it can't grab ahold, even if it was the correct diameter. The outside diameter is even smaller than what the specs say it is supposed to be.
