Arrived in pieces. Managed to get the bottom section (with the bristles) connected together again, but the bristles do not close fully at the open end, so they'll never keep a spider caught in a million years. Cannot get handle back together again so the handle and the spring don't work properly. Biggest pile of rubbish I've ever bought on Amazon. I bought this because my current catcher, which is over 10 years old, has damaged bristles. This was a replacement, but is worse than the one I am trying to replace. This has gone straight into the bin because it arrived broken, cheap and flimsy, and is totally not fit for purpose. And it is not worth my time, energy, and money, to return it. Won't be buying anything from this source again.

Good value and easy to use, with no harm to any of ourt 8-legged friends. My only complaint was the the handle part came away from the main stem, however this was quickly fixed with a couple of wrappings of standard black PVC tape (or sellotape). Overall a very good and unique soloution to a unique problem. Top tip: If you have plenty of spiders, you'll also likely have lots of small webs in the corners of your roofs, hence use also a standard feather duster attached to a broom stick, and use this to remove them all, then bash the duster outside your window to release them, then do the next room etc.

This spider catcher is really simple to use! If you're a scientist and have used a spatula before you'll find this catcher to be pretty much identical to that piece of apparatus! My bedroom was crawling with a whole family of spiders and unfortunately, I've got to say this catcher doesn't really work at all against small spiders :(. But against medium to big spiders, it works like a charm! Sometimes, the catacher doesn't catch the spiders (no pun intended!) and you have to play a little bit of cat and mouse with the spider until you actually catch it! So cover every single part of your body if you're really scared of spiders! Another great thing is that its handle is quite long so you don't even need to get close to those little buggers :) Overall, a great product, but if you have small spiders bothering you, you're better off using a vacuum cleaner!

Bought to replace one from a different source that broke. This one looks identical, except for some plastic strips added to the brush head. The old one eventually broke where the moving part of the handle joins. This joint is just a thinner flexible part of the plastic, so it may well break here again. While it is unbroken it works pretty well. The total length is 64 cm, not 82.5 as advertised, but this is not a big deal for me. the protective cap was not a close fit and tended to fall off, so I have added a strip of insulating tape for more friction. Overall, OK, but not the significant improvement I was hoping for!

I would prefer the shaft to be 100cms long rather than 65cms but that's because my arachnophobia is so bad that I can't even look at them, alive or dead! To use the catcher you have to look to be sure of catching it so if it was a little further away I would find it easier. Saying that, it worked a treat! I had tested it out by trying to lift small objects like a hair tie, with no luck so I was worried that it may not be easy to catch 1st time. Thankfully it did, and the spider wasnt flat against the wall, if was between the ceiling and the wall making it more awkward 😳. It worked 1st time! So its worth the money and even though I am terrified of them, I hate the thought of killing them! So I go to a little wooded area by my home and let it run free, hoping it never returns! 😆
