The Official Highway Code

Talk about useful -- The Highway Code book should be in everybody's suitcase. It's similar to our U.S. states full-length DMV guides and has all the information you will need to successfully navigate the sometimes confusing traffic rules. Some of the book does not apply, as they cover commercial loads, towing and so on, but most of it covers roundabouts, kinda weird traffic signals, right-of-way rules etc. Read it ahead of time and use highlighters to mark the important points. You will be glad you did:-)

Everyone who drives should have this!!

Perfect guide to help prepare us for driving during an extended vacation in Scotland. Roads and signs are different than where we’re from so it was helpful to see in a book before seeing on the road in person. Some rules of the road are also different, so it’s important to know what’s expected before you travel to another country.

Very handy and easy to read and understand.
