LETANG Kilmer Creek 4 Foot Cedar Porch Swing, Stained Finish, Amish Crafted, Includes Chain & Springs

We built a very nice custom play set for our grand children in our back yard. We enlarged the swing set module enough to include a porch swing for us old timers. This was a great choice. It is very pretty and comfortable. My oldest grand daughter even asked me to come sit on it with her. Since i am a life time construction person I was really impressed with how all the parts fit together. Everything lined up exactly. It appears that we will get one for our front porch, only the longer model. Oh, I weigh in at 360 lb. and if felt very solid under me.

Delivered quickly. It was easy to assemble, very sturdy and looks great. The swing is also very comfortable with a very nice finish.

This is a very comfortable, well designed, well built swing. It comes with all necessary hardware, including chains and springs. Some assembly required. As good as this product is, the directions to assemble are terrible! Seriously Kilmer Creek, couldn't you put a few more minutes into a set of directions that don't look like they were translated from another language! Really! Your product is top notch, but the crummy copy of a copy looks like you put about 10 minutes of thought into it. Assembly is just putting the arms on the the back on, but the hardware consists of two very similar sizes of nuts, two sizes of washers, and three different sizes of bolts, all mixed together in one bag. And it makes a huge difference where each goes, as my teenage son and I discovered as we put it together and had to take out and move around several bolts that are slightly different in size - not fun! Kilmer Creek! This is a great porch swing! You can do better with the directions!! Here are a couple things that might help as you redraft the current assembly directions: [...] [...] I would give the swing a solid five stars, and do recommend highly, but the directions get 0 stars, so the total package is 4 stars.

This is a beautiful, well-made swing. Very sturdy. It took my husband about an hour to put it together. I'm very happy with this purchase.

About 20 years ago our tree trimmer fastened and stabilized a couple of heavy linked chains at over 30 feet from the ground in our front yard's tall and mature California Sycamore trees. A five foot long wooden bench swing was attached and was the pleasure of our family, children, neighbor kids and then our grandchildren. We had to replace it 2-3 months ago and found this 4' swing on Amazon. Assembly was reasonably simple, but I still had to back up a few steps a couple of times to get it right. We purchased the Century 4002 Spring set. It took a little figuring to get the correct attachments to the existing swing chains, using thick S-links and leveling the seat. The extra springs seem sturdier and allow more "give" or spring bounce, than the provided springs. The chains which came with the bench kit were more than adequate. My 4 year old granddaughter had to be limited to 10-15 minutes a day of high swinging to save grandpa's back. She was thrilled and loved it! It is sturdy, with a nice redwood-like stain which is fairly water repellant. It should be re-sealed/stained at least once a year. It's a winner in my experience.

After 4 years, still a great swing. It is on a covered porch in Virginia. After 4 years, it can use another coat of oil or stain.

Ok quality. The cedar that was used was thinner than I expected it would be. Put together easily. All needed parts were included. It hangs even and swings nicely.

This is a wonderful swing. It sits beautifully . The back is very supportive. The construction is great. Extremely pleased. Excellent customer service from Hank at Kilmer Creek. Slight damage during shipping , not their fault it should be noted , was taken care of immediately. Highly recommend this swing and this Amazon seller.
