I installed this Fanxiang S101 256GB SSD in my Dell Inspiron 15 3511, and it works perfectly fine. The installation was straightforward, and my laptop recognized the drive without any issues. So far, everything is running smoothly and feels faster. Great SSD for the price!

I bought this 1TB SSD to use as storage for my multi-camera hub system, and it was basically plug and play. The hub recognized it right away as a connected hard drive, showed the storage properly, and started using it for loop recording without me having to fight with setup. For this type of use, I wanted something quiet, simple, and reliable. Since it is an SSD, there is no spinning hard drive noise, and it does not add the same heat or vibration concerns as an older style drive. The available storage showed around 953GB, which is normal after formatting, and that gives plenty of room for camera recordings. Installation was easy, the drive was recognized quickly, and it has been working well so far. For a budget SATA SSD, it does exactly what I needed. - Plug and play for my camera hub storage. - Recognized right away as a connected hard drive. - Works with loop recording. - Around 953GB usable after formatting. - Quiet since it is an SSD. - No spinning drive noise. - Good amount of storage for multiple cameras. - Easy installation. - Good value for the money. - Better option than using a small memory card for backup storage. Verdict: Great budget SSD for hub storage, especially if you want quiet, simple, plug-and-play recording space.

This HD is less expensive, and for that reason I felt nervous purchasing it. After arrival, I plug it into a Video Recorder and it formats and records OK. Sigh of relief. HOWEVER, I attach it to my computer via a Sabrent USB 3.1 2.5" SSD Cable Adapter - EC-SS31 purchased elsewhere, and the computer did NOT FULLY RECOGNIZE IT. Additionally, I can't initialize via MMC in Windows 11 because a terse error appears leaving me hanging. When I check the Windows systray, it shows the device for detaching but does not assign a drive letter. So I boot into Ubuntu 22.04 Linux and similar issue. GParted does not even recognize the drive. Attaching the drive to the computer is critical for transferring files from the Video Recorder so that I can edit them on the computer. Luckily I also have a Wavlink USB 3 2.5" HD case. Trying the drive with this will possibly eliminate any issue with the Sabrent adapter. The drive immediately is recognized with the Wavlink, fully initialized, formatted and pops up in the operating system and transfers files. Just because the device is inexpensive does not mean it is no good. If possible, properly check and eliminate all other variables before calling support or returning.

For me It lasted a couple of months before it became corrupted, but probably because I had an old laptop so a recommended buy if you want to.

Excellent ssd. I have been using it to back up my iPads on my Mac, very fast and very reliable. Glad I bought it before the price hike on storage.

Escritura en disco muy ràpida hasta aproximadamente 1tb y algo más. A partir de ahí cae la velocidad de escritura a 50 o 60 Mb/s con conexion externa por USB 3.2. Cae menos que otras marcas de similares precios e incluso superiores.

Great little SSD for the price. It’s much faster than a traditional hard drive and works well for upgrading an older computer. Installation was simple and it boots the system noticeably quicker. The 128GB capacity is ideal for a basic OS drive or light storage. Good value overall.
