(Wife writing this review) I absolutely love this book. The ingredients are simple, the recipes are easy to follow and understand. The forward was written so beautifully. Those two pages alone are worth the price of the book- full of wisdom, they capture the feeling of living in a busy, fast paced world- as well as how to find ourselves again. I was nervous about purchasing this book because most cookbooks are full of recipes with ingredients I've never even heard of and the recipes are always complicated- I opened this book and was so pleasantly surprised at how doable this will be, she breaks everything down and gives so many options for each recipe depending on the season and personal tastes- even the feel of the cover of this book is perfect- it's a wonderfully thick, soft paperback. This book is going to be well used over the years and I plan to purchase a copy for all the women in my family and I've already texted the link to all of my friends. I read nearly the entire thing in one sitting- even the recipes- I actually read it all, planning out menus and taking notes..... if you clicked on the book to open this page- just go ahead and purchase it- you will love it!

I’ve been studying Ayurveda for a while now, but I wanted something more accessible to help me actually apply it, especially when it comes to eating seasonally and balancing my doshas. This book makes it easier to actually apply those ideas in real life. The recipes have traditional Indian flavors, which I really enjoy. I was a little unsure about eating that way every day with my more Western palate, but I genuinely love them. They’re comforting, flavorful, and surprisingly easy to make. I also appreciate that the ingredients are easy to find, and nothing is too obscure or complicated. It’s helped me connect the dots between Ayurvedic theory and everyday meals in a way that feels natural and doable.
