Seem like a rather short term solution/tool for a specific job, probably not very durable and could see how they Could arrive damaged, However at a nice price the actual file grit quality is fairly decent and the handles are okay.

Tamiya has amazingly good product for miniature assembling. This files are light, they are super effective on removing mold lines and shaping the miniatures. So far, they've been holding up very well. One detail that it's worth mentioning, they're easy to clean. The variety of shapes also helps on reaching the tough spots on the miniatures. Overall, I recommend it.

Great little set of files for removing mould lines and cleaning up leftover plastic cement from between connecting pieces. This does the more heavy duty plastic removal before moving on to high grit sanding sticks that can smooth the plastic out and make it look as if there was never a seam to begin with.
