Look somewhere else
Bought this spatula and a larger one from this brand. Looked actually dirty and no real shine like melamine normally has. Thin. Im sure it isn’t going to last long before it breaks. I did like the handle length because I don’t like the longer type. The larger one (same brand & seller) melted the very first time I used it! No, this is not a good brand product at all. I couldn’t find any other ones I was looking for on Amazon though. I had gotten some really good melamine cooking utensils at Dollar General but they only had red, which was fine but I wanted black this time. They never had spatulas just spoon type. They are really nice and sturdy and glossy AND they were only $1!!!! These are $5. No thanks this isn’t a brand you would want either.

Lightweight but does the job
This is a lightweight, inexpensive spatula and my husband loves it. He was trying to scrape something off a pan recently and a corner broke but all he did was file and sand it straight across and he continues to use it in its new shortened form. He recommends it.

Kind of flimsy, like a dollar store item.
I have a similar spatula that I've used for years. It's my favorite. I wanted to get a backup just in case. Well, this thing looks similar, that's it. It's flimsy, and the handle is probably half the thickness of my original one. If I try scraping a pan with it, it just might break, both the spatula part and the handle. I paid too much for this dollar store quality item. I take that back, I think a dollar store item would be sturdier. It was also packed loose in a 6x6x14 box, I'm estimating, and I thought it was broken before I opened the box, it rattled around so much. I'm thinking of returning it. I can't use it!

Slightly different product than pictured (wider), but perfect
The product photo shows model 19000, but the one I got is 19006 (similar to 18806, shown on some other similar product pages. Similar but wider. It is brittle plastic, i.e. melamine, which I think is quite durable, but I'm sure it might crack, chip, or break if used as a scraper. It is not that kind of tool. However, for stirring, serving, cutting, and flipping, it is quite lovely and perfect as pictured. I can't imagine it breaking in this capacity.

NOT Melamine
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I wish I would have taken a picture of how bad this thing was. After the VERY FIRST use, this white "melamine" spatula warped and stained bright yellow (and no, it wasn't curry I was cooking). We laughed about it, and continued to use it on a very limited basis. After less than four months, the thing was so badly mangled (scrabbled eggs can be rough on a spatula apparently), the loop on the end cracked and then broke off, and finally the handle broke completely. Spend a few extra dollars and buy a REAL melamine spatula - not this cheap plastic one. Durability: CRAP Quality: Non-existant

Not made of melamine because it warps and melts so easily. Very thin and fragile.
If this were truly melamine, it wouldn't melt and deform at low temperatures. I gently tried to bend it back and it cracked immediately. I have a similar slotted one from the same brand and that's held up very well.

Perfect lightweight size! Giftable!
I have a navy blue turner exactly like this one that was in a set... I love it... Did not know they sold these pieces separately, so I already know that we will get lots of use from this well-made perfect "turner/server"... Cleans/rinses well immediately after use!... Great for making fried eggs, serving brownies, cake squares, etc.

This item is a lot smaller than expected
It is smaller than a regular spatula and quite lightweight, mine arrived broken. I wouldn't repeat the purchase.
