Panasonic DMW-DCC12 DC Coupler for Lumix GH3

It has only two metal prongs on the connectors. So, it is not powering my GH4.

I’m really impressed with both the camera charger and the customer service! The charger works perfectly, charging my camera quickly and efficiently. What stood out most was the outstanding customer service—they were responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure I had all the info I needed. Highly recommend this company!

3 stars because $30 is too much for a cheap piece of plastic without any electronics inside (other than a simple board with contacts). And because Panasonic should be including this with the camera, or at least make them in large enough numbers so they are readily available at a reasonable price. The fact that this had to be IMPORTED from Europe tells you a bit about the problems Panasonic has with planning. Let's face it, this is a required piece of gear for anyone who is using the GH3 for extended periods of time and needs an external power solution. Edit: In case it wasn't clear, it works. Well. It's just overpriced. Can't cost more than 50 cents to manufacture.

If we use this, with a plug-in lav mic -- there is incredible hum on the audio. no way to remove it during recording (tried everything). Only stuck with removing the hum in post.

OEM product so quality is guaranteed. No complaints at all. Make sure to use OEM power supply and you wont have any issue at all.
