Post Rotator Cuff Surgery
I had been sleeping in a recliner for two weeks after surgery. I desperately wanted to get back in my bed, so I ordered this bed wedge. It came shrink packaged and needed to expand before use. I took the covers off and washed them while the foam expanded. This wedge and all the pieces were very easy to assemble and use. I started out by using all the pieces as described online. I am predominantly a side sleeper, so adjusting to sleeping on my back could account for some of my issues. First, assembled completely, the height of the wedge was too high. I also did not care for the leg wedge. Again, I am not a back sleeper, and this could be why I did not like using that piece. I removed the triangle on the bottom so I could pull the wedge forward for less elevation (see 2nd pic). When I did that, the half circle head pillow felt too hard, so I replaced it with a thin pillow. This made it more tolerable to sleep on my side. However, in this new configuration, the wedge tended to slide upward at night, causing a higher elevation. I had to pull the wedge back down several times during the night. Overall, this wedge and all of its pieces is very functional and helpful to get rest post surgery. It is very lightweight and easy to move. It comes with a cover to store after use until you need it again (hopefully never!). All in all, I am glad I made this purchase, otherwise I would’ve been sleeping in the recliner for six weeks or more.

This is worth the money for your sanity and comfort!
There are 40 million versions of this out there on Amazon. THIS is the one you need for post-surgery. Yes, it takes a while to fluff up, but it will. Yes, it has a lot of pieces and it may take some trial and error to figure out what is most comfortable for you, but you'll find it. I purchased this for surgery recovery and found it to work WAY better than a different one I purchased for a previous surgery. First, it has little rubber nubs that keep it from sliding around which proved to be very helpful. Second, all the difference pieces can be adjusted to fit you *exactly* the best way for your pain. I had a tummy tuck and you HAVE to keep yourself in a v-shape because your skin is so taught. You also have to sleep on your back for a while, which is torture. Having this with the knee rest made sleeping so much easier. It prevents you from accidentally rolling around (I had nightmares about accidentally rolling over on my drain) and keeps your knees right where they need to be. I ended up using one of the smaller tube-like pieces to hold over my incision at night which was comforting. This is expensive for something you may only use for a few weeks, but I really think for your comfort and sanity, it is a purchase well worth making.

Quality and Versatile
I used this set after double mastectomy surgery. It was very comfortable, adaptable, and of very high quality. It's an excellent set to have on hand for these types of occasions when you need to reorient yourself physically without a lot of hassle.

Some pieces are great. Some pieces are too firm.
I ordered the Kingfun 4 Pcs Orthopedic bed wedge pillow. I definitely had to let it expand for 24 hours after opening. There was no off-putting smell from these pillows. I have found most of the pillows are comfortable and provide support. The neck pillow is way too firm and gives me headaches. I use one of my bed pillows with the wedge pillow and it is much more comfortable.

Small
This works if you are 5’, and tiny. It does not even elevate a person enough to watch TV. I needed this for neck surgery and found it unhelpful. I am 5’6” , 140lbs and consider it too small and the functionality is not there. It went back.

Makes almost anywhere a comfortable place to sit
I bought this because I need to protect my neck and hips while sitting up in bed. I read a lot of reviews by people who used this to recover from surgery. That isn't my situation but I can see why those reviewers rated it so highly. So far it is really comfortable and definitely solving my problem. I bought the gray. The covers are very soft, removable, and washable. It comes completely compressed. In just a few hours it had plumped up to its normal shape. I've been using it for 3 days to relax in bed with my laptop, or just watch tv. This set is doing exactly what I bought it to do--my hips and neck are supported and protected. There are a few places around the house that I will use this. We have a sofa and chaise lounge setup in our living room that is very practical and attractive but not quite as comfortable as we'd hoped. This set will work great there, too. It isn't so huge that it causes problems with space. The bag is easy to use. You either need to bag it or have a spot to move it if you're not planning to sleep on it. I'm managing that without a huge space concern. You need to look at the pictures on the Amazon listing because it doesn't come with configuration instructions. A basic diagram is needed but I didn't take off a star for that. It's not hard to figure out. There are two ways to use the large wedge depending on whether you want to be more upright or more reclined. There is velcro to hold the pieces in place for different configurations. You can use the rectangular piece as a neck or a low back support. I use it for my neck, which is the center of my back health. If I protect my neck, my whole back will be healthy. The true test of value will be how well the memory foam holds its shape over time. I will update if it degrades. If the longevity is there then the price I paid will have been worth it. So far, highly recommended.

Life-Changing Comfort and Support!
I recently purchased the Kingfun 4pcs Orthopedic Bed Wedge Pillow Set, and I couldn’t be happier. This set has been a game-changer for my sleep and relaxation. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and incredibly versatile—whether I’m reading in bed, elevating my legs, or needing back support, there’s a perfect wedge for the job. The memory foam is high-quality, with just the right balance of firmness and softness. It conforms to the body without sinking too deep, offering real orthopedic support. I’ve noticed a significant reduction in back and neck pain since I started using it. The covers are soft, breathable, and easy to remove for washing. I also appreciate how everything stays in place without sliding around, thanks to the smart design. Whether you’re recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or just looking to elevate your comfort, this wedge set is well worth it. Highly recommended!

Firm yet soft and squishy.
I bought this along with another type of sleep system and combined them, I tried it by itself before surgery and it is really comfortable, but I needed some side supports, because I am not a back sleeper and I had a unilateral mastectomy and I knew that without something on my sides, I would try and roll onto my side, the other sleep cushion has side cushions so I added those to this. I have been sleeping so well, better than before surgery, I'm so comfortable and supported, I may keep using it after I am fully healed. It would be perfect for reading in bed or watching TV, you can adjust it so you can sit up pretty high or low for whatever is comfortable for you. I thought I would spend more time in bed recovering, but I have felt good from day one, but this would be perfect for anyone who requires more bed rest after surgery.

Not sure what I would have done with this set! Total game changer. So comfortable. Breathable, no sweating and perfect firmness and softness. I’m able to get the rest I need because of this set for sure.

Not meant for bigger people
Shapes and options were nice but for a bigger guy it didnt have a lot of support.

Required after rotator cuff surgery, but product needs a few improvements to be perfect.
Good for sleeping in bed after rotator cuff surgery. Only wish that the small lumbar and neck pillows were a little bigger. Also, the 2 piece foot rest would function more efficiently if it had a Velcro to attach them together as they tend to separate during the night and need to be adjusted which is not an easy task for someone wearing a sling.

Be aware, not for short people!
I was excited to try this after just recently having a hip replacement. Was impressed with how quickly it inflated, waited the full 24 hours. Set it up tonight and the first thing I noticed is that the Velcro strips don’t quite line up properly (lower on one side than the other) to attach the neck and lumbar pillows. The back of my knees did not even reach the edge of the angled cushion and the second cushion that abuts the first, to make a flat surface for under your ankles, collapsed with the weight of my feet. Very disappointed, I am now out 140 bucks and can’t return it since it’s decompressed.
