Another great resource from Zach Stone. I bought this to have additional practice problems to use and the explanations it gives are super helpful. I appreciate the step by steps it provides. It helps connect the dots for me. The KEY thing with this book is the examples of “alternative item type” questions. These can be filled in the blank or drag and drop style questions. It can help make sure you are properly rounding your answers if the question is asking ROUND to the NEAREST ‘insert quantity here’. I recommend adding this book to your study materials!

Dude Zach is fantastic and I love the step by step answers he gives because it truly has helped with my learning. I bought these books and decided to sign up for Zach’s class (fyi if you take his class you get this pdfs free but I prefer paper references). 10/10 recommend his class as well! I purchased this book to help me prepare for my Professional Engineering exam and it has been the most helpful AIT problem set book I have come across so far! All the problems are explained thoroughly without skipping any steps and could not be more helpful. This book being specifically AIT problems helped me significantly improve in the way I will go about solving these kind of problems when I take the exam for real as it was a weak point for me. I would highly recommend working though this book in your own preparations for the Power PE exam.

When I took the FE exam, it threw me off that there were non-multiple choice questions where you had to do stuff like drag answers to the correct spots on a diagram, more answer choices than a typical A-B-C-D, etc. To help prepare for the PE, I purchased this book to get exposure to these type of problems and familiar with it, and it has been a great resource. Explanations are clear, and if you still have questions on something, you get access to the online community where someone else has most likely asked what you are questioning. Finally, you do get access to this if you purchase Zach's class, but as someone that travels a lot for work, this was great for me to study on planes. Its also nice to give your eyes a break from all the screen time from work + studying.

Zach Stone is the best instructor I have learned from. I tried other instructors and the material didn’t click. Booklet is a clean practice exam with 80 questions. I would save this until the very end of your test prep.
