Husband had a complex ACL and meniscus repair. He could not get the dressings/brace wet for 3 weeks. This easily fit over the brace and kept the area completely dry in the shower. He was able to reuse it many times with no damage to the product. Of course you need to be gentle with it, but it held up well to every other day use. It also has a loop so you can hang it in the shower to dry. This was a huge difference maker. The ability to shower greatly helped with morale and healing. Well worth the money. It was still working well when he graduated to regular showers so I’m sure you could use it much longer.

I recently had surgery on my foot. In order to take a shower I needed to cover the incision. This boot was perfect. In my case it did take someone to help me get it on. It fit very snug at the top of my calf. I’m 5’3”. Absolutely no water entered the boot. It has worked over and over again. I would definitely recommend this product.

This really works out well for my need. Recent knee surgery required me to wear a hip to ankle brace, this product allowed me to shower while keeping the brace and bandages dry. The product was relatively easy to get on - it comes with a tool to assist with putting the product over my leg, it remained in position and secure during the shower. Yes, I recommend this product if you have similar need.

I had toe surgery and needed to keep my foot dry for 6 weeks. To keep my foot dry during baths and showers, I chose the YUNCHI Waterproof Leg Cast Covers for Shower Adults, Reusable Cast Cover for Shower Legs. The cover worked perfectly. The majority of the cover is a reasonably thick vinyl that is sturdy and I would not expect it to rip or puncture during normal use. The rubber opening easily pulls apart to create ample room for inserting a leg with a bulky cast or bandages. The foot part of the cover is quite oversized and would easily accommodate larger size feet. (For example, I wear a women's size 9.5 and my foot did not take up even half of the foot part of the cover.) While the rubber opening stretches open easily, it fit tightly but comfortably around my leg to keep water out. Just be sure after putting the cover on, the rubber is facing up and not folded down into the cover. If the rubber is folded down, it would be easier for water to seep in. An added bonus was the clip that came with the cover so I could hang it to dry. Just an FYI. I chose the leg cover versus the foot cover, even though the foot cover would have been all I needed. It looked to me, however, as if the foot cover would stop at or maybe even slightly below the water line of my bath water. It also looked like the foot cover would be directly hit by my shower water. I decided having a cover that came above the bath water line and would not be in direct line of the shower spray would increase the likelihood the cover would keep my foot dry.

I recently fractured my leg and have a knee-high splint. I didn't want to resort to having a trash bag taped over my leg every time I needed to shower and risk any water leaking in. So I decided to buy this, and I have mixed feelings about it. It is almost perfect, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, the quality is great. It is thick and made of a sturdy material that isn't rough against your skin and is truly waterproof. The expandable leg hole makes it easy to adjust it higher up or lower down on your leg to get the perfect coverage and comfort. For reference, I'm about 5 feet tall, and the knee-high length is a bit high for me; if pulled up all the way, it goes up to just below my mid-thigh as shown in my picture. The main con about this design is that water pools at the hole opening where you insert your leg. So after every shower I always shake off the opening and wipe down any lingering water before taking off the cover to prevent getting my splint wet. I also found it hard to put this on myself and have needed my fiance's assistance to hold the hole open so I can carefully fit my leg in without hurting my leg. Overall, this cover definitely gets the job done and has worked well for 2 weeks now, going on 3.

Pleasantly surprised. I'm a bigger guy and I really needed something to go at least or slightly above the knee. This worked perfectly. It goes on much easier than expected, is very snug to the skin but comfortable. Great quality, heavy duty construction, no water leaks at all. Makes showering with my cast so much more convenient. Highly recommend.

Fifth time I have used the YUNCHI Waterproof Extra Wide Leg Cast Cover since I had ankle surgery. Works great so far. I am using it over a splint which does not have any hard edges so no issues with tearing on the blue rubber ring. The ring feels rather soft and loose, so I was worried that it would not keep all of the water out while showering. But it did. Best to ensure that the rubber ring tapers upward around the entire leg before you turn on the water. Otherwise some water may enter when you try to adjust in the shower. I’ll have to see how if this will continue to hold up when I start using a boot which will likely have some hard edges, Velcro, etc. But at least with the splint that the surgeon put on, this works brilliantly.

This is a great shower boot for either splints or casts. Its slips on fairly easily and definitely keeps the foot/leg dry!
