I purchased this wallet 3 years ago for a great price, and after reviewing and getting a LOT of wallets. I like the minimalist design, but I also wanted a wallet with an ID window, and this small bifold is just great. As it began to wear in one area and separate, I contemplated switching to a Ridge or Ekster, but I contacted customer service first. Great, quick communication and they replace the part that was an issue (and provided a tool). I didn't spend $100+ on one of those new wallets, and they guaranteed I'll recommend them and buy from them again!

Finally my alpineswiss slim wallet gave up on me. So decided to give it a try to slim minimalist wallets. After looking extensively on amazon picked dango d03. I am sure I could have paid less if I had picked knock off item but why not get original. Main reason to pick this as it has ID window n I like to keep my DL visible. I don't care much cards as mostly use apple pay. But still I was able to fit 6 cards. I am sure I can slide in few more cards on outer pockets but why do that n make it bulky. Inner pocket strictly fits 4 cards no more. I tried sliding 1 extra card but it wasn't working. I do carry some cash on me but I never had put them in my regular waller either. Coz cash is emergency purpose like what if u lost or misplaced wallet. Same with this one. Using strap to keep wallet closed by keeping 2 most used cards if I had to use em. Stitching, framework looks solid. I would highly recommend over knockoff. I mean they cost about 20 to 35 as I looked around so few more extra bucks why not buy original

I love this wallet. Very minimal and holds everything I have. I just fold my bills and stick them in the middle and close with the strap and it's very secure. Only gripe is the strap seems like it may not hold up long term. Will see how it goes.

I bought this wallet back in early 2021 and have used it every single day since. It’s been nothing short of amazing. Sure, it shows a little wear and tear, but after 4 years of daily use, it’s held up incredibly well with zero major issues. Yes, the $70 price tag might seem high at first—but when you break it down, that’s less than $20 a year for a wallet that performs and lasts. Totally worth it in my book. I loved it so much, I just bought another one to replace it! If I had one minor complaint, it’s that the elastic band isn’t replaceable. Mine stretched out after about two years—but to be fair, I definitely overstuffed it. Still, that’s the only thing I’d change. Bottom line: look no further—just buy the thing. I doubt you’ll regret it.

I’ve been carrying my D03 DTEX material wallet for over four years now, and I can confidently say it’s my favorite wallet hands down. I recently give the black leather one a try and I couldn’t be more pleased. I mix the black rail on the DTEX one with the black leather cover and for now on this is the way for me. Looks super elegant / durable / lightweight / slim / easy to access / high quality and the best part… It fits my 14 cards without any issues. No jokes!

I originally bought the Dapper D01 without the bifold from Dango and while I liked it, the back plate didn't hold the cards well enough for my taste and I didn't want to add the bifold to that one. At any time the cards would shift and seemed like they would want to fall out if I didn't push them back in. This D03 is better imo, for what I am looking for. It is still very small in my pocket and I have about 9-10 cards and 2 ID's and it's not bulky at all. I was worried that the bifold wouldn't stay closed well but so far it has laid flat since I opened the package. The leather is thin but has enough to secure the cards and doesn't feel cheap. The elastic strap could be better but I use the band from the D01 wallet I had so I don't have any issue holding cash in it. The biggest thing for me is the metal rail that holds the cards in actually secures the cards unlike the D01 did. Overall I am very pleased, especially after having the D01.

I really like the look and feel. I've already replaced my traditional bifold wallet with this one. Knowing it was made in the u.s is a +. However the wallet needs some refinement. Out of the box, I had to do some reshaping of the fold of the leather to get it to close properly... not a big issue and it was easily fixed. The outer card pockets are super stiff. I have to put strength and technique into removing cards from outer pockets if 2 cards are being stored. Hopefully in time, as the wallet is used more, this issue fades. The medal rail system does not play well with medal cards IE: amex platinum cards. If I had 4 cards on the rail as advertised, the amex card would scratch when attempting to remove it. I had to go down to 3 cards if the amex stays as the top card. The clear screen for the ID card pocket is also removable... I'm not sure if this is intentional or not. But I'm personally not a fan of that as everytime I pull out my license, the clear piece of the wallet comes out as well. Elastic band is loose and does not hold items down very well. Overall the wallet looks good, functions ok. issues aformentioned would need to be resolved if I were to purchase again.

I've had this product for about a month and am happy with it. I have too much for an ultra thin case, and this is a good practical solution. The elastic band can be used in a variety of ways so I can be ready to show an ID and also keep receipts secured at the same time, for example. The best engineering feature is the metal slot to hold up to 4 cards. It's the first time I've had something that holds several cards as securely as just one. The rivets and leather brushed vinyl are also high quality and will hopefully last a couple of years. It meets my demands for design, quality and function well.

Very well made and it looks good. Easy to use, but hard getting cards out when it's new. Once it stretches out, it does get easier. I think it's a bit overpriced, so I'd wait for a deal. Lol.

Expensive and very limited as a wallet
