This item is very great and I liked it. Very easy to set up.

This is my first Rainpoint timer and I'm glad I bought it. It was very easy to program and it works like a charm. I couldn't be happier with it.

This is a high quality product that works as advertised: if you have a single hose that you’d like on a timer, this can do great work for you. If, on the other hand, you’d like to use this timer to run a sprinkler zone or similar project that needs the same pressure and flow rate as your water supply, look elsewhere. Bought this to run an irrigation zone served by a hose bib. Without the timer the zone functions perfectly - good water pressure and flow to have all heads pop up and function as designed. We wanted to be able to control this zone with a timer and this product seemed to fit the bill, so we gave it a try. Unfortunately, the vale is undersized relative to the 3/4” attachment, so water is restricted while flowing thru it. Again, if you don’t need a lot of water, you’ll probably be just fine. Disappointed in the result mainly because everything else about the product seems top notch: good build quality, good form factor, etc. Ranking 4 stars in reflection of product quality. Docked a star due to restrictive flow valve in the unit not able to provide similar pressure and flow as faucet without the unit. Hoping they make a high flow version - I’d certainly buy it.

This has been a game changer for being able to stay on top of watering my little garden. It’s really easy to use and set up, which was great.

Started to leak maybe after a month. I thought it could be related to water pressure but turns out internal mechanics. Either way, it was easy to set up and install, just didn’t last really long. Update: I was sent an updated version and it has been working so much better. I’ve been using it the past couple of days and no issues previous reported

It is really easy to use and if you use the Teflon tape it won’t leak. It has done well with a sprinkler and haven’t had any issues with it getting wet. I’ve had it for several months and the battery life still shows as full. The display will go to sleep so be mindful of where your spout is located. You can adjust the settings very easily but be mindful that when any settings are changed it will start on the designated start time. Moved it to my backyard and added a splitter and it is doing well controlling for front and backyard watering.

Easy to install and operate

As others have said, easy to set up and use. The problem is the way the water is shut off at the end of the cycle, it slams the valve shut which causes water hammer throughout the house. I was in the garage on the other end of the house from where this was installed and could hear the pipes shake in the wall when it shut off. I had to remove it because I was afraid of it causing a leak in the walls at one of the junctions.
