Fantastic product
The product is fantastic for your moustache a styling needs. It is a strong hold that last for hours. It has a very nice sticky Matt finish, not greasy like other brands. It’s very easy to apply and use and it has an applicator with it in the tin. It also smells wonderful and is definitely one of the best value for money products on the market.

Tried many others - this is the best!
I’ve been using Death Grip, Sudden Death moustache waxes for some time, and more recently Bone Crusher. For me and my unruly whiskers, they really are the best! A little goes a long way, and though Death Grip in particular needs working and a bit of getting used to, they are the stickiest, firmest waxes and give day long hold. No noticeable perfume either which I really like, so no lingering odours under your nose nor odd tastes added to your coffee. A couple of tips - you really do need to warm the wax before and during application - keep working it to get the desired effect (their comb is really handy for this), and then blast with the cool setting. Death Grip gives absolute hold and is great for achieving that villanous handlebar - Sudden Death and Bone Crusher are great for retaining maybe a more relaxed shape. Also, particularly when using Death Grip, it’s worth investing in the Night Fury remover to strip build up ‘cause soap won’t shift it! - like I said, you get day long hold - and it doesn’t wear off. Great products, excellent value for money, and a great business ethic.

Use it properly
I didn’t use it properly for about a month and hated the product however after seeing a YouTube video of someone using this product properly with a hair dryer. Now that I apply using a hair dryer it’s literally the best moustache wax every lasts all day if applied properly. Reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that your fingers be sticky all day unless you wash your hands like 5 times and sometimes the moustache is shiny which people can tell you’ve applied something

Works as described no issues
it works. I grew a handlebar mustache and needed to style it. This stuff really works. Its a bit of a pain to heat the wax but the hold is actually amazing.

Unmatched hold with classic charm
I’ve only used Death Grip before, so I was excited to try more from Vintage Grooming—and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Death Grip Moustache Wax delivers exactly what the name promises—a seriously strong hold that keeps your style locked in all day. Whether you’re out in the wind, heat, or humidity, this wax keeps your moustache looking sharp and perfectly in place. The texture is very firm and requires the use of a hair dryer to apply heat, making the wax workable and ensuring a smooth application without clumping. Once softened, it goes on cleanly and gives excellent control. It leaves a slightly tacky feel, but not in a negative way—it just ensures your stache stays in place all day without feeling too stiff or hard. What I really appreciate is that it’s made with natural ingredients and has a subtle, pleasant scent—nothing overpowering, just a touch of that classic barbershop feel. To clean my moustache, I used to rely on baby oil to help break down the wax before washing it out with shampoo, but I found that shampoo tended to dry it out. Lately, I’ve been skipping the shampoo altogether. Instead, I use an oil to loosen the wax, wipe off the excess with a dry cloth, and then thoroughly rinse with water in the bath. This method keeps my stache healthy, soft, and even a bit shapeable without wax. This is the first time I’ve used Night Fury, and I’m impressed. It has a lovely, subtle citrus scent. After applying just a few drops and waiting a couple of minutes, I work it through with my fingers and gently massage it into the hairs and any remaining wax, then wipe off. It leaves the moustache feeling clean, nourished, and not greasy. I’m also excited to try the other three waxes in their range—Bare Bones, Bone Crusher, and Sudden Death. Bare Bones sounds perfect for those days when I want hold but without the stiffness. Sudden Death offers a firm hold without needing a hair dryer, ideal for quicker routines. And Bone Crusher promises an extra firm hold without the tackiness, which sounds perfect for when I want even more structure. The presentation box is of good quality and feels sturdy. The corners were a little damaged, but I imagine that’s more due to transit during delivery than a fault with the product itself. The two metal combs included have a nice weight and a smooth finish, showing good craftsmanship. Each has a hole for attaching to a keyring, which is a handy feature. I doubt I’ll use the larger one, as I shave my pate bald, but the smaller comb will definitely be part of my regular grooming kit. Whether you’re shaping a modest stache or going full Dali, Death Grip gives you the control and confidence to wear your style proudly. Highly recommend for anyone serious about moustache grooming.

The dapper gentlemans trusty companion
As others have said, wow! You only need to scrape a very small amount out of the tin. I was expecting a soft type wax, but it's quite solid . A quick rub between the fingers and you're good to go. Your moustache definitely stays in place. Any excess on my hands I've smoothed down any unruly beard hair. Pleasant smell. Looks like it's a winner.

Contains known allergen & irritant
BEWARE!!! This contains pine rosin, which although listed as an ingredient does not warn it is a known allergen & irritant. I used it 3 times before I turned into a red blotchy swollen eyed mess. It has taken a week of using creams & antihistamine to recover. It also didn’t last all day so I couldn’t even recommend it on that basis. Terrible product, needs to carry a health warning.

I have used a hand full of waxes. Previously I used Mudstache, it worked ok, but on my walks in the cold breathing though my nose it the condensation would reconstitute it and look like there was white cream in my stache........ Viking revolution, was ok for a time, but they turned it into candle wax. It flaked up and was worthless. I haven't used all of these waxes yet, but sudden death is my favorite since it can be applied without heat and is a strong hold. Nothing wrong with barebones either! Death grip is a bit tacky and harder to work with but dang it's hold is stronger than Thor! Bone crusher is supposed to be as strong as death grip, but without the tack. These waxes don't flake up and are wonderful to work with, even when having to use heat. They have a natural pine ish smell that is pleasant. I'd rather not smell anything too strong. I haven't grown my mustache out very much just because working with the prior waxes was at best a pain in the rear.

Bought this on a whim and was not disappointed! The wax holds strong and last for days. The guitar pick for getting the wax out is a genius idea and I love the heavy duty metal comb.

Finally ran out of my 3 cans of Death Grip, by Vintage Grooming. A wax I am thoroughly impressed by and use every day. I was invited to purchase Bone Crusher on an early batch but still had a mountain of Death Grip and did not need another tin in my supplies. That said; I would have bought 2 had I known just how great the latest offering from Vintage Grooming is. I ordered a can, and was rather excited. I absolutely love the packaging and branding from Vintage Grooming. I own a tee shirt and their stickers decorate my work shop. And I find uses for the tins. And the guitar picks are a little extra detail that really make their wax stand out. So I couldn't wait to see the latest art featured on the Bone Crusher. I was not disappointed. The art is phenomenal and unique. But Art doesn't make the wax. The price is right in line with their other waxes. It won't break the bank and your money will go far. And it's money well spent. Opening my Bone Crusher; very easy. I've had trouble with Death Grip. Once the wax gets on the threads, there are times I need channel locks to break that sucker open. I have yet to see if BC gooks up the threads in a similar fashion. But so far, it has not been an issue. To solve the DG unthreading problem, I simply do not engage the lid fully. I don't have to apply it more than once a day, and therefore have no need to carry it with me. And no need to seal it. This is a first world problem and does not take away from DG which I rate 5 stars. Bone Crusher is not as sticky. It is a tough wax. Rock hard in the can. A hairdryer is absolutely required. Thankfully, the residue doesn't cling to the hairdryer or the plug. I've had Death Grip on just about every item in my house at one point or another. Not so much with Bone Crusher. It has a manly smell. Not flowery or perfumed. That's not to say it smells bad. It is a pleasant scent and appropriate for a mans stache. It smells fresh and clean. Just not overpowering. Heating it up with a hairdryer on high heat. It takes much longer than DG. Stays liquid for a very brief time and is dry by the time it gets to the stache. Therefore more heat is needed. It goes in wonderfully smooth. It doesn't clump or clot. My stache doesn't separate into multiple strands. And therefore the wax just coats everything evenly and requires very little. And that little will go a long way. A few dips in the liquid wax on each side. A few strokes. Some pinches and smoothing. A few tweaks to shape it. In spite of a longer heat time. It takes less time to shape and form and get a good even coat than with DG. My stache looks natural and full. It doesn't look like I've got any product in. And it remains in shape, all day. I have a large mustache and I'm not using much BC at all. Shaping my stache into a proper and finely sculpted Handlebar is a breeze and less messy. I work in a forge with hot sparks and high temperatures. Welding and grinding and a lot of fumes and smoke. The BC holds up 100% It was the same shape when I left the house and the same shape after 10 hours of work. In fact, it only relaxes after I soap up and leave it in for most of my shower. And to my satisfaction, my mustache seems to be healthier since I started using BC. I'll still buy DG. But my new primary wax is definitely Bone Crusher. If you need a solid, extra strong hold wax, then Id definitely recommend it. You won't be disappointed.
