Great for beginners

We have since moved on from this now we are more confident, we only need the basic makisu. However, this kit was a great introduction to homemade sushi and made the transitions from never having done it before, to confident and pretty good at rolling!

Bought this for granddaughters 13th birthday, together with the ingredients kit. Great fun to make sushi but need practice using the moulds.

This is a brilliant buy! My 14 year old son & I love sushi and really had fun tonight making our own - which was so fresh and tasted better than any you can buy in the supermarket. His elder brother and Dad even came and tried some. The equipment is easy to clean. Very simple to use. Worth every penny!

Il kit, seppur possa sembrare per principianti, non lo è. Anzi, è più di un kit per principianti! È un passo avanti. Lo step successivo. Lo consiglio vivamente!

My family loves sushi but to take a family of 4 out for dinner multiple times a week gets expensive, so we decided we wanted to try making sushi at home. This kit isamazing! The process was very straight forward and the rolls turn out great every time. The only thing we found that was a negative, was the size of the rolls. The rolls are almost more than a single "bite" and the inserts do not have a smaller option. At the end of the day than is a tiny negative and it hasn't stopped us from making our own sushi quite often! The first roll took a bit of time to figure out the best way to use it but after that, I was making rolls in just a couple of minutes. If you are on the fence about trying sushi at home, this product is perfect for you.

It was difficult at first with the difference in shapes but after a few uses you can judge how much to put in and how the paper or nori must sit at first I made a few messes but after seeing how much to load into the machine it's like riding a bike if you fall off you get back on and try again or you won't succeed
