Before finding Vetericyn, I took him to the vet and was prescribed Neo-Poly-Dex, a steroid anti-inflammatory ointment. I applied Vetericyn Plus Eye Wash two to three times a day, used an eye comb to remove eye debris buildup, wiped around his eyes with baby wipes, incorporated a blueberry facial shampoo, and kept the fur around his eyes trimmed. this stuff is great! been using is it weekly for 4yrs now. we use for our ancient senior dog who gets frequent gunk and hairs in her eyes. washes everything out easily. soothes eye irritation.

The doggo was tearing up more than usual and this worked well to treat it. It was a two man job though to keep her eye open and stop her from running away. Other than trying to control your dog, this was as easy to use as any other eye drops. After a day, started noticing a difference (her eyes weren't as watery) and on the 3rd day, her eyes weren't tearing up anymore. Tbh can't know for sure if her irritation went away on its own, but certainly it felt helpful to drain out her eyes to be safe. Some hairs and other small dirt can get stuck in there. She hasn't had any issues since. Pricey but felt worth it in this scenario and glad to have it on hand if it happens again.

Very effective product! Cleared up the yellow discharge in my OES eye in a matter of days. I used it twice a day for 3 days and now once a day for about a week or so more to make sure it is cleared up. She does not react in a manner that would indicate it bothers her eyes. Easy to apply. My bottle did not leak at all.

oh myyy where do i start…. i don’t usually do reviews but i had to take some time for this product. AMAZING, i have a 3 month kitten who had been having problems with her eye about a month ago. i took her to the vet the first time i saw her eye, i payed about $500 for a visit, and some eyedrops. turns out it was just pink eye. she started showing symptoms again yesterday and i figured i would try something before taking her to the vet since it’s a high probability of being pink eye again. i used it yesterday 2 times so about 4 drops total and today she had her eye open with no mucus or anything. worked GREAT AND FAST. plus i was really surprised that the bottle was pretty big as well. i was expecting a regular size eyedrops but you’re definitely getting your moneys worth! i recommend this for sure, if you’re hesitant this is your sign!!

This wash works really great. It helps keep the gunk under her eye loose so it can be wiped off with the eye pads. Our dog is blind. We moisten her eyes every day with it.

This eye wash is pretty good overall. The biggest advantage is its gentle formula; even my sensitive cat doesn't struggle much when applying it, which proves it's truly non-irritating. It works well for daily eye cleaning and minor redness. However, to be honest, there are some drawbacks. First, the liquid is quite thin and watery. It often flows right out of the corner of the eye after application, so it feels like a lot is wasted. Secondly, for old, stubborn tear stains, it's impossible to remove them completely with this product alone. You still need to combine it with frequent wiping and grooming. Also, the price is a bit high for the size, and you go through the bottle relatively quickly. In conclusion, it's a qualified product for daily care and soothing, but don't expect it to perform miracles.

Excellent for soothing eyes and rinsing out irritants. Used it on one of my adopted cats that had a bacterial infection around the face. Worked great and rinsing the bacteria from the eyes when I rinsed his eyes every 2-3 hours during the day. His eyes cleared up within 48 hours and I was able to drop back to rinsing every 4-5 hours.
