Black metal finish was scratched and chipped all over the rod.

Perfect!

Perfect for what I needed, which was to support a delicate fence as you can see from the pictures. You can’t really see the black rods supporting the fence but that’s the whole point where this fence was falling down, it is now no longer the case.
