It’s a durable, heavy, well‑made product, and overall I’m happy with it. My only real complaint is the footboard rest, it doesn’t stay in place. If you accidentally move your feet or try to adjust your position, it slips out and you have to bend down every time to fix it. installation was easy and the adjustments are simple.

It's perfect for my home office. Sturdy materials and adjustable. I did not expect it to be so comfortable, great for me. Recommended.

First off, one of the dowels was broken when I opened the box. As that was my first impression, that’s how the review is starting. I still assembled the foot rest, it was easy to get out together and I didn't need any extra tools. Everything was provided. Once put together, I think the broken dowel will be a non-issue. The foot rest is sturdy, has rubber feet so it won’t slip around and the comfortable, even with bare feet. To adjust the height you simply move the provided stick between the levels. There are three height variations for maximum comfort. Since this is a manual mechanism, I don’t see this foot rest easily breaking. For what I paid for it, it’s a good foot rest and seems like it will last a long time.

Didn’t like putting together, though works well as intended and looks good. My feet are properly propped up with a comfortable cushion. Some plastic dowel support pieces were broken when received and I didn’t buy it used. Not structural, but would have liked them. Construction instruction is not as easy as 1,2,3 but it’s intuitive and you can figure it out. Have to take apart the product to add/remove the provided cushion that clips around the foot rest board. Not difficult but annoying.

This is the third StrongTek footrest I tried and it is just right! Here's how I know: I forget my feet are on it. I just feel comfortable! I have it on the second level. One of the small white pegs was broken but that's no biggee -- they just act as a guide. It's true the assembly instructions are terrible, but it's not hard to figure out. Tip: don't worry about keeping the moveable rod in its track, leave it out while you put the thing together. The rod will go in once assembled if you hold it at an angle. Makes a great foot rest when using the rocking chair for nursing well built, good value for price. Like how you can adjust the height, has 3 different heights. Seems like it’s very durable and supportive, I can stand on it and doesn’t creek or give out. Functional, can use as a foot rest, work out piece even, or a toilet foot stool!!
