It works for my candle making needs. The handle is a bit loose, but its not a big deal for me. Pouring is easy, no splashing and pours directly into the jar.

As advertised and easy to use. Comes with enough wax to make a few small candles. Much less expensive than buying individual supplies at a hobby store.

This is easy to use and worked great

Like: small, cheap - Now, I know what I want/need. Great for beginners. Dislike: So light it floats in small amount of water. Tried using a Frying pan and steam burned me more than the amount of heat that melted the wax. Use a white ceramic coated pan for the water dish that got stained light pink during use. So the red does come off. However, the water pan is fine, and the RED on the melter looks the same?? It is small. I can only melt 1/2 pound in this. YES, I have put one pound of wax in. But when it BEGINS to melt you will have to stir slowly or lose some wax over the top. And it is hard to stir without making a mess because the flakes are clumping up. I use wax flakes... So if you use a different wax maybe this wont happen.

Good kit... However I didn't receive green or red dyes so all I could make was blue and yellow candles, (green if i mixed). Was really excited to make red candles with this kit.

I only make a few candles at a time, so this is great for the amount I use. It does not burn or become discolored at the bottom like the aluminum pitcher I bought from a big-name store. It's also easy to clean - I use terry cloth, which works better than paper towels. If you plan to use 1 pound or more of wax at a time, I recommend getting a larger pitcher.

Is not like the photo. The main reason I purchased it was for that drip catcher as shown in the photo, but it doesn’t have that. The handle will also be too close to the heat for candle making.

Genial súper util

I was really looking forward to receiving this product, but I’m disappointed. The first time I used it, part of the inside burned, & now there are dark spots. All I did was boil some macadamia milk. It makes me question whether this product is truly legitimate.
