It works

The product works just like it should. I like how the individual tools lock into the driver and dont fall out if the tool faces the ground while using. There are two draw backs that kept me from giving this tool a higher rating. The first is the cap on the end that secures the individual tools within the handle is a pain to use. It has a small tab your supposed to depress to open the handle. No matter how far I depress the tab it is a monster to get the cap open. Sooner or later it will fail altogether leaving you to break off the cap to get it open. The second issue I had was the horrendous smelling plastic smell it has after removing the tool from its package. I had to open a window and turn a fan on in my shop for two days before the plastic smell would go away.

Poor quality. The driver for the front sight screw does not hold. It seems to be a stamped or press fit for the actual driver end and shaft end. When trying to remove the front sight screw, the driver end simply spins on the shaft to which it is attached,while under torque when engaged with the front sight screw. This is the primary reason for the purchase of this tool, but I liked the interchangeability of it. I purchased this because of the driver with a good grip and the fact that it also has a magnet in the driver to hold the tiny screw when installing it in the confined barrel channel of the slide. The other bits are all solid pieces which will not suffer from this faulty design of the 2 piece drivers design. Saddly the front sight driver "IS" flawed, which is a shame as it is well suited for removing the occluded Taurus G2/G3/G3c sight screws.

January 2024 update The tool itself works fine, but the latch you have to press into open the door to retrieve the various bits broke off. It actually still keeps it latch, you just have to reach in there with something to release the mechanism. I might just pry the door completely off and cover it with a strip of duct tape. That way I can open it without tools. The rest of it still works well. August 2023 I needed to remove the front sight off of two Glock slides. I bought another set of two tools, they failed to get off one front sight. I ordered this and it arrived about eight hours later. I opened the package, put the correct bit in the handle and it took the sight off, just as it should have. The funny thing is, I had this in my shopping cart because the other set was a couple of bucks cheaper and I wanted it to take very little room in my tool kit. Lesson learned. I haven't tried anything but the front sight tool, but I have no reason to believe I'll be let down.
