Got these for my husband he loves them and carries them everywhere with him.

Solid addition to my husband’s mechanic toolbox. He uses it professionally in the shop, and it’s held up beautifully under heavy use with an impact gun. The sockets themselves are tough, accurate, and clearly made for real-world work—not just weekend DIY. Performance-wise? No complaints. Each socket fits snugly on lug nuts, and the sizing is spot-on. The color-coded rings and labeling are super helpful when you’re grabbing tools on the fly. They’ve been through multiple tire rotations and brake jobs already and are still going strong. No rounding, no cracking, and they handle high torque without a problem. But let’s talk about the sheaths. These sockets come with protective plastic sleeves to prevent scratching wheels—which is great in theory. But in practice, those sheaths are ridiculously hard to remove. It took pliers, patience, and more than a little frustration just to get them off the first time. Once you do get them off, you have two options: Leave them off permanently (which we did for most), or Apply a light coat of oil if you want to keep using them and still be able to remove them easily. If you work on cars regularly, it’s a no-brainer. Just be prepared for a wrestling match with the plastic sleeves the first time you use them—and maybe keep a little oil handy. Still very much worth it.
