Can it be used outside

I pretty sure it can be use outside. The only difference from this ladder to other commercial ladders is that this one has a wider stretch when opened. It cannot be use unopened like some ladders can, but it has wider slip-proof steps. So, if you are looking for a ladder that safer to climb on, this would be good. If you are looking for one that does not open as wider, then this would not be ideal.

Is the 5 step ladder really rated to 500 lbs? I saw the same ladder on different ad that states only rated for 330 lbs.

I'm 290 and it is questionable every time I get to 3 step but so far it has held up. I haven't gone pass the 3rd step and if it breaks I will sue there behinds off
