This was my second purchase of this product. Previous one was taken by my elder sister as she also loved it. It's smaller and lighter than earlier bose micro soundlink. Good for travellers who wish to avoid those heavy bluetooth speakers. The sound is bose signature with balanced bass and treble, vocals are crisp. This is an amazing speaker for those who love to listen in a low volume. It's magic lies in mid low volume with soft bass and soothing treble. Party animals & bass heads go for JBL flip 6 or Charge 5. I am coming from the likes of JBL but this speaker is so light weight, just perfect for my backpack and for those chill-out sessions. The only con is there is no C type pin port and you have to use Bose connect app. But it gets automatically connected as soon as the bluetooth is on. NOTE: Do not use any other charging cable and only use the one given by Bose.

This is a good speaker overall. Sound clarity is very good. Vocals and instruments can be heard clearly. It is loud too - for a small room/space, it will be sufficient. Coming to bass, I'm not very sure I'd say good or bad. From the reviews I had read, I thought it would have very powerful bass. But I was initially disappointed. I felt bass weak. I'm used to listening to speakers like Bose SoundLink Mini 2, Bose SoundLink III, and more recently Bose SoundLink Flex. They all have powerful bass. Perhaps being used to them, I felt the bass of Micro very weak. However, I then felt that it's not the same on every song/video. For some audio/video, the bass on Micro is very good - for some others, it's not so good. Similarly, the bass on Micro in general feels good in low to medium volume levels, but weak afterwards. But the low to medium volume level is not usually sufficient for a big room/space. So, I think it is important that one has right expectations regarding bass on Micro. But the clarity is consistently very good which is a plus. Its clarity is more or less same as the more recent Flex's, but Flex has much powerful bass. Overall, for personal listening in a small space, Micro is a very good speaker. It sounds nice and clear, and pleasant to listen to. Flex is for bigger space and more powerful bass. Update: Earlier, I had given 5 stars rating, but I've now reduced it to 4. The reason is that, my Micro has been having Bluetooth connectivity problems repeatedly. It does not connect to a device that was earlier connected. It is able to announce the name of the device, which means it remembers the device, but somehow does not connect. Even when it is put the "ready to connect" mode, it won't connect. Then I have to do factory reset (by pressing the power button for long) but doing so erases the list of all earlier devices. Also, from the other device, I need to remove the Micro and then re-add/re-pair. Doing all this very rarely might be acceptable, but I'm having to do it quite often. I never faced this issue with my other Bose bluetooth-based speakers. So, the software on my Micro looks rather inferior, or poorly tested.

Excellent Sound quality

It's been 5 years, and the quality of the speakers is as good as it was when I had purchased. The speakers are so good that I don't feel like updating to other speakers. Hoping to go a decade with this speakers

Honestly I was sceptical when I saw how compact this device is but within about 5 seconds of this playing my music I was just blown away! The quality and intensity of sound that resonates for this little guy is just unbelievable ! At the price point this particular BOSE sound pod is a TREAT!

Es un aparato de buena calidad con un bonito diseño, robusto, ergonómico y con un buen acabado. El sonido es excelente y tiene unos grabes que no es frecuente oír en dispositivos tan pequeños (poco más que la palma de una mano) pero no es un altavoz para grandes espacios y su uso es más bien individual. El máximo nivel de volumen parece bajo al principio pero hay que entender que es muy pequeño. Por eso es ideal para usarlo en cualquier actividad sin molestar a terceros. Se adapta con sencillez y seguridad a cualquier cinturón, correa, etc. Indica el nivel de batería al encenderlo y la duración supera con creces las 6 horas que garantiza la marca. También se puede sincronizar con otro altavoz del mismo modelo y oír el sonido en estéreo por lo tanto supongo que el volumen será mayor, pero eso no lo sé.

Bonjour J avais déjà testé ce produit à la Fnac. J ai pu le comparer aux autres enceintes bose... Alors certes, les plus cher sont de meilleur qualité, après faut savoir ce que l on veut exctement selon son utilisation. Pour ma part cette petite enceinte passe partout me convenait amplement. Et je suis contente du rendu Qu elle donne niveau son de par sa petite taille! Commande de couleur orange , plutôt sympa le rendu. A voir dans le temps si elle fonctionne toujours ... mais on est rarement déçu par bose. Contente de mon achat. Merci

I bought this in the Spring of 2021. It is now almost Fall 2021. I bought this primarily for my bike. I've had a few different speakers for my bike in the past few years. Most of them were pretty good, but flawed. And most of the flaws originated in the way they attached to the bike. I do not want a speaker that sits in my water bottle cage, so I need one that attaches to the handlebars or near the handlebar stem. And the speakers I've had in the past all had mounts that broke - some quickly, others over time. Anyway, about this speaker. It's a good size, a little bigger than a hockey puck. The sound quality is really good for something so small. There are 5 buttons, but they are pretty easy to use. Power On/Off, Bluetooth Pairing, Volume up, Volume down, and an action button. I'm surprised they didn't combine the Bluetooth Pairing button with the power button. The action button is used to play, pause, skip, and rewind. One tap to play or pause, two taps to skip, three taps to rewind. It's not the best system, but it works OK. The speaker attaches to my bike via a stretchy silicon strap in the back. You unhook it, wrap it around the bike, and hook it back up. I was not confident at all in this strap, and was pretty sure it would have broken by now. But, I ride two or three times a week and it's been 6 months, and so far so good. Generally speaking, I ride from April to November. If this thing lasts me two riding seasons, I will be very happy. The other thing to mention is that this speaker requires you to install Bose software. I don't think it's very intrusive. It's small, doesn't get in the way, and the speaker quickly connects to my phone without any issues. If that was not the case, I would be very annoyed. But, so far, I haven't been annoyed by it. Edit Summer 2023: I've now owned this speaker for 2.5 years. I only really use it when I'm biking. I bike about 90 minutes a day, about three days a week, about 8 months out of the year. That comes to about 140 hours per year on my bike. The speaker is still in good shape. It looks almost brand new. It works perfectly fine. It sounds as good as ever. And the part of the speaker I was most worried about, the strap, has not failed me yet. If I could give this 6 stars, I would. I'm still very happy with this purchase, and if it ever fails, I will buy a new one from Bose.

Great sound. Easy to charge. The lady lets you know how much charge is left when you switch it on. Great product.
