Review: Homeschool win for my Minecraft fan! - Randomly I stumbled upon these workbooks while searching for something to spice up homeschool when we start back after summer break. My son is turning 6 next week and a huge Minecraft fan. I that these books will be a fun change of pace occasionally when we need to take a break from our normal curriculum. While briefly scrolling through the book upon opening it there seemed to be much more to this then โaddingโ and โsubtractingโ. I believe these will be a great review for him this year in โfirst gradeโ. I added several photos to show the variety in this book. I always love to be able to look inside the books before making a decision. I actually think that my son will actually like to read these pages as well since itโs something he is interested in. They seem to have tied it together in a fun way. He is very good at math, but focusing for this boy is something to be desired. Crossing my fingers that it helps. Oh- I also included the packaging from this seller since it is not free shipping. I wanted to show how much care they put into ensuring it arrived unscathed. It was wrapped in a thicker protective paper. And wrapped with cardboard and taped VERY secure (get your scissors to cut this baby free)! All my books from desertcart have been in a bubble wrap sealed envelopes (which is fine). Review: Fun and Engaging Way to Learn Math! - I purchased "Math for Minecrafters: Adventures in Addition & Subtraction" for my 6-year-old son who loves Minecraft. I was pleasantly surprised by how engaging and fun this book is! It's filled with colorful illustrations and activities that kept my son interested and motivated to learn. What I liked most about this book is that it made learning math feel like a game. My son was excited to solve each problem and earn points, and he didn't even realize he was doing math. The activities were also varied enough to keep him interested and challenged. Overall, I highly recommend "Math for Minecrafters" to any parent who wants to help their child improve their math skills in a fun and engaging way. It's a great investment in your child's education and a fun addition to any Minecraft lover's collection!

Keeps Kids Engaged and Challenged
Good book at a reasonable price. Useful for homeschooling, a supplement to schoolwork, or as a summer workbook. There are single and double digit math problems and word problems. I was pleased to see other concepts sprinkled in - fractions, geometry, place value, time, money, and even some copy work. My six-year-old is a math whiz and completed the book. Looking forward to more in the series. If you like this, also check out the book, A Place for Zero.

GREAT for Special Ed Classrooms IF you go through it carefully and tear out pages that contain some violence.
I am buying this for a special education junior high school student. He is going to love it!. It is written simply enough for most special needs students to understand. Great book. Very funny. Well written. If you are a special ed teacher you will have to be VERY VERY CAREFUL to tear out all the pages with word problems and a few of the other pages. The word problems are funny, but they contain some violence. They contain phrases such as "attack skeletons" and "destroy zombies" . I had to tear out 8 pages, but this workbook was still well worth the price!. The kids will enjoy doing this seat work!

Same exact math problems in the other books
I want to give this book a 5 star and I want to give it a 1 star. I am torn. This is the first book I bought and my son loves it! He needs the extra practice in math and this is the only math book I found that he will do more pages than I ask for him to do. Realizing he loves the book I searched to see what else there is for him to work through, since he will finish this book in less than two weeks. I purchased the Great big Book of Math in this series and the Great big Fun workbook for Minecrafters 1 &2 grades. To my disappointment all/most of the math problems are the same for Addition and Subtraction. Had I know that I would have only bought The Great Big Fun Workbook for Minecrafters 1&2 grade and The Great Big Fun Workbook for Minecrafters 3 & 4 grade, then I would have had all the math problems I believe. My son needs the practice, so I am not going to return them, at this point. But itโs frustrating to me that I spent the money on these different books and they have the same problems. If there was a note in the description I guess I missed it. I love the concept of these books, I love that my child enjoys them. I just wish each book had different problems in them. That is why I couldnโt give it a 5 star.

Perfect
Stuck at home, schools are cancelled. My son is having so much fun working on this book, doesn't really feel like homework for him. He is a Minecraft fanatic. This book has a little bit of everything. Telling time, matching, addition, subtraction, working with change and more. The pages are so colorful and nice and big with clear instructions. My first grader is really enjoying this!! You can also tear the pages and allow more than one kid work on the assignments at time!!

My 1st Grader Loves!
Teacher Approved!!!! My 1st grade son is loving this workbook!! I have had to limit the amount of pages he can complete in his COVID learn from home lessons! He LOVES Minecraft so he doesn't even realize he is doing school work. Great lessons and actually follows with our school district lesson plans as an addition.

Great book for grade bridge
Good activities for doing over the summer, bridging from 1st to 2nd grade. And the fact that he loves Minecraft really helped keep him engaged with the activities. Some were challenging, which is a good thing (Iโm my opinion).

great way to link learning math with fun game
My 6-yr old loves math. He's in Grade 1 and we got this for him as a Christmas gift. Combining his favourite game with an interest in math has been quite great. Level seems appropriate for that age and he has been able to solve the problems he has tried thus far.

Great idea
My grandson loved this book. He is only 5 but has a real knack with numbers, so this book is invaluable as he can progress at a rate that heโs happy with rather than waiting for everyone in class to catch up. It has stopped him getting bored. It would be nice if you could make the books with pound sterling as well as dollars though as we have to skip the money pages.
