Love this for digging holes for canopy poles when at the beach.

We love using a Shibumi instead of an umbrella but struggled to get holes deep and narrow enough for the poles. This tool is PERFECT and helps you get the Shibumi stable and secure deep in the sand. It helps a lot if you’re assembling on your own. We’ve had some bending of the cutting end in a few years of use in hard packed sand but it’s easy to fix with pliers. I’ve also used it to dig holes for bird house poles. Worth every penny!

Yet another simple thing that I wish I'd had many years ago! We're still rocking umbrellas at the beach, despite the proliferation of the flappers.
