I wanted to get this lube for inserting my cup on the last days of my period where I am more sensitive and my flow is light, I think it will make insertion easier. But since my period is 20 days away I used it for intercourse and it is wonderful. After having children and being on hormonal birth control my body doesn't make as much lubricant as it used to, so I always use lube. This area is sensitive and many lubes I've tried can be irritating (creating a burning sensation inside of me) so I was excited to try this. Pixie lube didn't get sticky and didn't irritate my sensitive body at all. I think this will work for my cup during my period (I will update review once I've tried it how it was intended to be used!). Excellent lube for non-cup purposes though (way better than ky and less sticky than astroglide which is what I usually use), I'd continue purchasing for that alone. Price is good, it's a pretty big container and a little of this goes a long way (I think I'll probably only need one pump to put on rim of cup). *update--finally used with my menstrual cup and it worked great. I only needed one pump on rim and a tiny bit on cup near rim, very helpful for insertion, great lube.

I love the Pixie brand, and have tried many products by them. I ordered this Pixie lubricant, to use for various personal things. I love that this product is hypoallergenic, Ph balanced, water based, and plant-based. It is easy to use, and easy to apply onto various types of things. It's gentle on my skin, and doesn't feel sticky or uncomfortable. I've used this product on things like menstrual discs, as well as kegel weights; I feel that this lubricant has been very helpful, and makes things more comfortable. This lubricant was sealed on both the outside (via a plastic wrap), and was sealed underneath of the cap. I appreciate that this was done, as this is something I'm using on my skin. This is a fantastic product, and a convenient size; I can easily toss this in my bag, suitcase, or pocket. It has a flip-top cap, and can be stored upright in my bathroom cupboard. It's easy to use with one hand, which makes it helpful when I'm trying to prepare to use something. I think this is an excellent quality product, and a little bit goes a long way. I'm glad I bought this product, and I would recommend this to others. I think it's a good value for the price, as well (currently listed at around $7.95 at the time of this review). Very nice and gentle lubricant.

Not messy, not sticky. Helps with inserting menstrual cup.

The first one i got was very runny, like it was just water. Luckily they gave me another one that seemed like the right thickness. Both of them actually did allow me to insert my cup, but it was definitely easier with the second one. It seems the products are not always consistent, but if you get the right one it is a pretty good quality for the price! My only complaint is that when I bought it, the ingredients advertised were incorrect, and this product DOES CONTAIN PROPYLENE GLYCOL. While I myself haven't had any sensitivities to the product yet, as far as I can tell, I know there are some people who might be sensitive to that ingredient. So that's why I took one star off, but otherwise this product works pretty well and is a better price than most traditional products on the market, without most of the unnecessary ingredients. I will give five stars if they take off the images with the misleading ingredient list :) Update: I ended up throwing away the watery one. You may as well just use water. However, the other one is still great. I use it pretty much every day that I use my cup, except heavier days when I don't need the extra slip as much.

Holy cow this lube is a game changer for disc application! A small tube has lasted me about three cycles, and I will now be buying the larger bottle. I have only used it with my disc (with and without the disc applicator), but if it was cheaper, I feel like it would replace our bedroom lube...

I have been using this product for years, and it was the only lube I would use. However, on my most recent purchase I am completely taken aback by how different the product is. The product does not lubricate, and is just straight liquid that drips off the cup. The liquid does not stick, it’s like water and falls right off. Maybe I received a bad one, but I bought like 3 of these travel sized guys and they are all the same. In the past, it was more of a gel consistency and would lubricate well. I am very sad they changed their product because it was the only lubricant that would not give me a yeast infection.

I’ve used Pixie products for over a year now and have really enjoyed everything I’ve used. I reordered this recently and got the incorrect product size. I reached out to their customer service, and they were extremely helpful and beyond willing to assist me in getting my order corrected.

Helps with inserting a menstrual cup. Might not always need it but handy to have on dryer days.

(Though I have received this item free through the Vine program, I will still give any item a fair, unbiased review.) My wife has been using a menstrual cup for a while, and this insertion gel has made the whole process so much easier for her. She says it provides just the right amount of glide without feeling sticky or messy, and a little goes a long way. I really appreciate that it's water-based, fragrance-free, and made with gentle ingredients since I have sensitive skin. It doesn't cause any irritation and rinses away easily. It also works perfectly with my silicone cup without leaving any residue. She says this is one of those products you don't realize you need until you try it. It makes insertion much more comfortable and takes away a lot of the frustration. I'll definitely be keeping this on hand for her and would happily recommend it to anyone who uses a menstrual cup or disc. She also used it for "other things", and says it works great for that too.

I don’t ever do videos or leave lots of long reviews! So it’s now the same product I’d as the old one but the old one was water based , 100ml less then the last one I bought because they have changed packaging and ingredients!! It’s now all plant based lubricant! It’s thinker now but smells strange! So I smelled strange! And the packaging is a lot less recyclable as now it’s not coming apart and u can’t wash it out and recycle ♻️! It now had bamboo and looks amazing but why change a good thing ! May as well buy normal lube water based silk type and save loads of money!

Ce qui m'a d'abord attirée vers ce lubrifiant, c'est la liste d'ingrédients : seulement quatre, tous d'origine naturelle et tous prononçables. Pour quelqu'un qui fait attention à ce qu'elle utilise sur les zones sensibles, c'est vraiment rassurant. Pas de parfum, pas d'additifs suspects, juste une formule simple et propre. Le gel est épais, transparent et inodore. Il s'applique facilement et la texture est agréable, ni trop liquide ni trop collante. Je n'ai remarqué aucune irritation ni réaction, même sur une peau sensible, ce qui était ma principale préoccupation avant l'achat. Il facilite vraiment l'insertion d'une coupe menstruelle, surtout pour celles qui ont des particularités anatomiques qui rendent l'insertion plus difficile. Le tube de 75 ml dure longtemps malgré sa taille modeste. Il peut être nécessaire de réappliquer après un certain temps puisqu'il s'agit d'un produit à base d'eau qui sèche plus rapidement qu'un lubrifiant à base de silicone, mais pour un usage occasionnel comme avec une coupe menstruelle, ce n'est pas vraiment un inconvénient. C'est un excellent rapport qualité-prix comparé à d'autres lubrifiants à base d'eau sur le marché. Je recommande sans hésiter à celles qui cherchent une option douce et naturelle.

Why not just say lube. 😅 It's like calling a car "4-wheeled human transportation device". 😅 👍 Water-based so it's safe to use on everything. 👍 NOT watery. It's a gel. So it's not runny. 👍 Lasts longer than those runny ones. 👍 Only "4 clean ingredients", clearly listed. 👍 3-year expiry.
