It's great for hubitat
I’ve purchased multiple Zooz 700 Series Z-Wave Long Range Double Relay ZEN52 units for my Hubitat setup over the years, and they’re a cornerstone of my smart home automation. This relay integrates seamlessly with Hubitat, allowing independent control of two 120V loads, making it ideal for automating dual gang box switches or separating fan motor and light control in a single fixture. The installation is a breeze with pigtail wires, fitting easily into tight boxes. The 700 series Z-Wave chip and Long Range support deliver fast, reliable communication with Hubitat, ensuring no lag in my automation routines. I’ve used it for controlling fans, lights, towel warmers and other non-dimmable loads, and it performs flawlessly. For Hubitat users seeking versatile, reliable automation, I highly recommend the ZEN52 for its performance and ease of use!

Quick and easy install.
Been using Zooz products since I started the task of automating my home, the light automation is always a good starting point. I wanted to maintain my current “dumb” switches and found this option. The pair is easy and works with home assistant (You need a zwave hub) It seems to be reliable. I’m happy with this product. The only observation is that you’ll need to change an option for the external switch “toggle” the light instead of fixed actions, and in my case there is another option that add a delay to detect multiple clicks, I hate that delay, but is configurable.

Great relay if you need to control 2 lights etc.
I used this in my Hubitat system. it paired easily and it is easy to wire in. I found it worked best if I used a jumper wire to lengthen the neutral and the two S1 and S2 wires. They are a little short for a double gang box. I was able to easily name the two switches and change the switch type to toggle. It worked perfectly.

Somewhat difficult to pair, but afterwards works like a clock
Got this relay to control my kitchen LED converted tube lights. Installed it right up there next to kights since my wall switches don't have neutral wire (1950's building). Installation was a breeze, instructions are super clear. Pairing to my SmartThings hub took some time. Scanning just wouldn't pick them up Had to reset the relay twice, but after my hub has found it it was super easy to control. It installs as three separate switches, one for each output + master controller switch. If you go to the settings of the Zooz controller and set it to turn on after power loss, you can use a regular wall switch to turn it on/off with 1 second delay.

Very compact and packed with features.
Very impressive device for such a small package. With all the parameters exposed in Home Assistant, could be useful in a variety projects. I am simply using it to control an attic fan speed with additional heavy relays. There are numerous other functions for 3ways and motoring/replacing standard switches. I would recommend reading the instructions before purchase to take advantage of the features.

It is tiny, but there are flaws
Let's start with the positives: * This thing is tiny. It packs two switch inputs and two relays where other manufacturers fit one * The price is about 40% less than other Z-Wave double switches * Lots of options for setup in Home Assistant, though this is a double-edged sword. Keep reading. The negatives: * The wimpy 5A relays put some pretty serious restrictions on where you can use this. A ceiling fan comes close to maxing out the relay rating. Definitely do not connect this thing to a switched outlet or anywhere else you can't guarantee a current draw under 5A. This limitation should be more clearly marked on the packaging. For example, you should definitely not use these to control a switched outlet. Someone might plug in a high current device in that outlet and cause a major problem. * Makes a little bit of a humming/buzzing noise. You won't hear it once the device is squirreled away inside a wall box, but I could definitely hear all three units I bought when I had them hooked up in the open (with all exposed wiring covered in Wago connectors) for pairing. * The default switch setup is a little confusing out of the box. I suspect the most common use for these, by a wide margin, is connecting them to existing light toggle switches. The switch inputs on all three of my units were not set that way by default. I was initially very confused when I got the switches hooked up, flipped the lights on with the physical switch, flipped them off with Home Assistant, and then had to hit the switch twice to get them to turn on again. I had to go into the device options in Home Assistant to get the switch inputs set as toggles (I don't remember what the initial setting was). I have lots of Wi-Fi, Zigbee, and Z-Wave smart switches and these are the only ones that weren't set up for toggle inputs by default. It is a minor issue, but I bet the manufacturer gets a lot of these things returned by confused customers that don't have patience for tinkering. Update: I have installed three units inside wall boxes in my house and all of them have had incidents where they completely stop working until I turn off the circuit breaker and turn it back on. When this happens the unit is unresponsive in Home Assistant AND the physical switch stops working. This is completely unacceptable.

Longevity isn’t as I wish
Short life item. I originally bought three of these units. Two lasted less than six months, and the third died just under a year. They work great when they work, but their installation doesn’t make for fun times replacing them. They claim to be rated for lighting, and that’s what I used them for. I have since replaced these with Aqara actual switches.

FANTASTIC!
FINALLY! An affordable DUAL microswitch on zwave + that works flawlessly with Home Assistant (HASSIO) !!!! YES I am so happy! You can pair it from great distance because of the zwave "plus" standard, and it actually feeds back the status of the relay states when using the local controls. I have found other dual microswitch relays in the past that work just fine to control from HA, but many do NOT report their status when operated locally. The Qubinos and Aeotecs where the only ones that worked consistently, but they often cost 2 to 3 times as much as these. Good job Zooz!

Works well with a ceiling fan
I purchased this relay to use with a ceiling fan to be able to control the light and fan separately. I installed it and paired it with SmartThings. The installation was simple. I like the fact that you only need a single neutral wire. It works well so far. I highly recommend this relay.

don't buy
Horrible relays. They stopped working within 60 days. One of them stopped within 30 days. Their switches are way better.
