Was not a direct fit
Bought this motor to replace my sons syx 50cc motor because the pullstart bolt sheered off in the engine I read the description and reviews on this motor multiple times and decided to just buy it The motor got here beautifully, but when it came to installing it, nothing lined up! My son was so excited to having his bike up and running soon that I didn’t have the heart to send back the motor, so after some modifications to the motor bracket we got the motor to actually fit! The next obstacle was that the new motors casing was actually longer therefore making the chain not fit! So we cut the chain and got it to fit! Then came the moment of truth, we put our mixed gas in and gave it a go, it started for approximately a minute to a minute and a half then died! We tried multiple times to get it going and it just won’t turn over again, I have even replaced spark plugs (that weren’t bad) and still nothing! Long story short this motor is trash and not worth the $$$ I literally spent money on a paper weight! I wish I would’ve gotten my son a damn electric dirt bike

Garbage!!!
Just bought this pile of junk to replace the motor in my son’s dirt bike. Everything lined up fine and got it installed without issue. He went to go ride it and have had nothing but issues. Leaks gas like crazy so I did a carb clean and that fixed the problem. Barely wants to start and now the pull start cord broke. Many bolts on the engine were stripped out before I did anything so I had to replace them. Luckily I was able to find the correct replacement. I will never be purchasing this motor again. Highly recommend you go elsewhere. It’s a non refundable item and can’t return or exchange it. What a waste of money and a huge disappointment for my son. DON NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM!!!

Good for the money
Runs good after the 2nd tank the coil stopped working. But changed that out with the one from the old engine and have 4 more tanks through it. Still running good
